We had a wonderful experience staying at the Shining Star. Clean room, cleaned plus towels and supplies replenished daily, excellent breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Also great location, a few minutes walking from most major touristic objectives in Sultanahmet, and a few minutes walking from the airport bus drop off/ pickup. Overall, great budget hotel.

Great location! This hotel is not only located ideally, but it is clean and very comfortable. The staff is super nice and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and we have absolutely nothing to complain about!!

Great location near Haiga Sofia, Basilica Cistern and Blue Mosque. Room are clean and good breakfast. The road was being torn up out front so the lobbybwas a bit messy. Not the fault of hotel staff.

Stayed four nights here. Great location, minutes to the major points of interest, steps away to restaurants and shopping, yet on a quiet side street. Faculty looks new, feels new. Breakfast provides plenty of choices, rich in protein and other foods. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to this hotel if visiting Istanbul again

Great place to stay!

Great stay at Shining Star Hotel. Very well located, with a short walk to restaurants and the most popular sights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The glass floors with a view of the underground ruins are really a treat and the bar area is beautifully finished and very atmospheric - although the wine and beer choice could be better.
