Ideal location to explore the city

Ideal location to explore the city. Friendly, efficient service from booking to check out. Hotel contacted us immediately after booking to offer airport transfer and booking of tours etc. Room was clean and spacious, view of a wall so kept the light curtain drawn. Very firm mattress which might not suit all. Shower was efficient, sadly towels were changed every day so not very eco friendly. A reasonable choice for breakfast, not necessarily to out taste but good selection and presented nicely. Return airport transfer was 110 euros

Fantastic find in a prime location between Sultanahmet Square and the Grand Bazaar! Easy walking distance to major tourist attractions on the historic peninsula. Staff were very friendly and helpful … special thanks to Halil and Burak in particular. Great dining options close by. The bed was very comfortable and despite the mosques and traffic in the area, our room was very soundproof!

Exceptional service!

I was treated so well at this hotel! The concierge staff was super helpful -- they accommodated all of my requests and gave me a great overview of what to do in Istanbul. Truly exceptional service. The location is unbeatable! You can't get better if you looking to book in Sultanahmet. The hotel is close to all of the key touristy sites, but it's on its own, quiet side street, so it is not loud at all. It's also just around the corner from the T1 metro stop and a short walk to many different restaurants (touristy and non-touristy), as well as the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. I suggest booking one of the bigger rooms, because the smaller rooms can run small. The breakfast was good -- nice variety, something for everyone.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and in an excellent area for visiting major attractions. Wi-fi could be better but that’s a minor complaint as we really didn’t spend much time needing it. The breakfast is exceptional. We would definitely stay again!!

The location of the hotel is simply perfect, conveniently situated near a tram station. Iconic landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar are all just a 10-minute walk away. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

For the price and stars they can do better. They do not provide proper amenities. No conditioner, lotion, iron, etc. The gel and shampoo they provided were terrible. The hair dryer was not working and there was nothing they could do. The breakfast was ok. No proper coffee and they ran out of stuff. The bald guy incharge of breakfast was terrible and no one smiled. The saving points were the reception staff and the location. For the price and star rating, it's not what it seems.

The hotel room window had a full view of the Blue Mosque and was quite beautiful at night. The staff were excellent. Extremely quick and thorough. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a more than adequate array of food. It’s close to the Metro which we used extensively. Very clean. Room service inexpensive and amazingly quick. We rate this a 5 star experience. We travel extensively and Carina Gold did not fail
