We just returned from an 11 day trip to Alaska. There were a total of 4 adults in our group and all would say the highlight of the trip was our stay at Coho Cabana in Halibut Cove! Eric & Sarah have created a restful retreat, just far enough away from the busyness of the world that we felt disconnected for a few days. We were treated to easy access, beautiful scenery, wildlife viewing, hiking, kayaking, local dining, as well as many other local attractions. The cabin is very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed watching the tidal changes from the deck, as well as while enjoying a beachside fire. Fresh oysters from the farm stand directly in front of the cabin were an extra special treat.Eric & Sarah are amazing hosts, providing excellent communications from our original booking, to our arrival, throughout our stay, and upon departure. We especially appreciated the extra info during a tsunami warning! It helped us navigate our safety measures with ease. Coho Cabana is now on our top 10 vacation destination list. We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Homer and may be craving a little corner of the world for peace and tranquility. We hope to return some day!
