This was a very nice log cabin experience for me and my family. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this. It’s about a 30 min drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone which makes it very convenient. Highly recommended

Wonderful experience. The place has everything! Well thought out amenities. Staff was super nice and helpful. The continental breakfast consisted of carbs, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apples, oranges, cereal, milk and juice. The nearest Walmart is located 1 hour away in Rexburg. The Spruce loft was teeny tiny and not meant for adults. In fact, it was not conducive for older kids either. The laundry facility was nice and affordable. The sauna and cold plunge facility was clean and relaxing. The fire pits were thoughtfully arranged and provides for a fun evening of enjoying s’mores provided by Blue Buffalo.

We had a wonderful stay at blue buffalo, we were able to upgrade from the dry small cabin, to a larger one upon check-in. Parking was easy, it was a little hard to spot off the highway so I’d suggest a little more lighting at the entrance, and I found breakfast options very limited (waffles, toast, muffins, coffee, juice) but overall we have zero complaints! Our cabin was beautiful and spotless and we rented bear spray for $5 to hike through YSNP. We’d absolutely stay again!!

We tried checking-in 45 mins early but they wouldn't let us and that is understandable, She recommend places to go and wait but we already drove 8 hours and are very tired. I wish the receptionist check the cabin and see if its already ready before dismissing our request, I don't mind paying extra. She told me that I would get a text at 4pm with check in instruction but never did, I went to the office to remind her about the text she promise. I know she is just following instruction and not her fault. Anyhow we stayed at Spruce and it was beautiful, just like in the picture. The breakfast is your usual continental breakfast. Bike and kayak rental is conveniently located in the property. I would recommend this place.

Property was great. Good food options. Could use bigger hot water heaters in the cabins. We could not shower 1 person after another. The second person ran out of hot water quickly even if the first person took a quick shower.

Great little find for our 6 person family. Cabins were very clean, spacious and were fully equipped to cook meals. Overall property was very clean and close proximity to Yellowstone. Will be back again!

Overpriced for the small cabin without a bathroom

Although the resort is nice and clean, we found the cabin without the bathroom to be quite small and overpriced. It was quite inconvenient to have to get up and walk a few hundred feet to a bathroom. Found the bathrooms to be quite dirty at times, and often locked-up with no one in them. It is not because you are a 40 min drive from Yellowstone NP that you should be unreasonable with your price.

The cabin was properly organized for a family stay. We were 3 adults and 2 children ages 15 and 5. The spruce cabin was sufficient for 5 persons stay. The customer service was also excellent.
