This cozy guest room is located on the third floor with a very comfortable king sized bed, full bathroom with rain shower, an out door lounge area overlooking the pool. The unit is equipped with a desk with a chair a Nespresso machine, smart TV's with free Netflix, Amazon’s Alexa, high speed internet, smart switches AC and sealing fans. 372sf.
The space
Casa Bene is a 3 story building In the charming neighborhood of La Gloria and just 2 minutes walk from the white sandy beach and turquoise ocean, Casa Bene is surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and beach clubs within walking distance.
There are 8 villas in the building. two lounge areas, a rooftop with BBQ and a hammock as well a plunge pool and huge fish tank by the gated entrance. All guests have access to these amenities.
For remote workers we offer a high speed internet all around the building.

This cozy private room with its own bathroom called Heaven. This room is located next to the penthouse with a lockable door between the two villas. This unit was finished in 2023 with new wooden closet soundproof windows , smart Tv with Netflix, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and high speed internet and a very comfortable king size bed and a small desk and chair as well a mini lounge right outside to enjoy a morning coffee. We provided drinking water, a Nespresso coffee machine with pods and tea kettle.

Casa Bene is in a safe neighborhood, centrally located in the charming local neighborhood of La Gloria only 2 minutes walk from the white sandy beach and turquoise ocean, Casa Bene is surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and beach clubs within walking distance. Super Aki supermarket and the best taco restaurant on the Island are also just around the corner! To get to North Beach taxis are everywhere and only cost about 5-10USD to get to North Beach as well there is a local bus that costs only 20 Pesos!
Our guests love the atmosphere of La Gloria, you will experience life in a typical Mexican neighborhood and feel like a local Islander. After a day in the bustling and lively Playa Norte, it's nice to return to a quieter area like La Gloria. Our location is also next to the Hotel Zone area! Home of the Dolphin Discovery & Garrafon Park, a natural wonder on the island paradise of Isla Mujeres. With a spectacular reef for snorkeling, sprawling green areas with gardens, cliffside paths, zip lines, kayaks! This part of the Island is where the best beach clubs are as well as the famous Punta Sur archaeological site. In our neighborhood La Gloria you will also find several wall art paintings as well very popular rainbow stairs which is a great spot to take amazing photos!

To explore further beautiful Isla Mujeres, we highly recommend you to rent a golf cart, bike or scooter as we are centrally located, it takes about 10 minutes to ride to downtown Playa Norte or beautiful Punta Sur.
Just like in most Mexican neighborhoods the people enjoy getting together over the weekend dancing to loud salsa music also there are dogs running around free barking when they please but that is the beauty of a small Mexican Island. * Rooftop and BBQ and hammock on the top 3rd floor, for convivial moments around a meal, a drink and admire the magnificent sunset. The space also offers an area for yoga with a shower and bathroom.

SERVICES FROM VENDORS

* Continental breakfast (Fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, smoothies, butter, jam, cream cheese bagels or English muffins, fried eggs, ) must request a day ahead and served at 9 am – menu might vary depending of the availability on the island.

* In room massage from the best local Mayan therapist (price on demand - depends on availability -we also ask you have to booked and pay in advance - for a last minute cancellation a 50% penalties reimbursement will apply)

* Transfer service from the Airport to the ferry and back. (price on demand )


* Beach chairs and umbrellas rental for 100 pesos for day . We only also ask for a refundable 1000 pesos cash deposit.

* Golf cart rental – very popular thing to do, convenient to discover the island – big demand, especially in high season it can be tricky to get a golf cart.
We can arranged a drop off service directly at the that will cost an additional 200 pesos –– note that a license driver is required to rent a golf cart - (price on demand - restriction may apply)

* Self-check in is at 3:00 PM - Self-check out 11:00 AM

* All of our units and the building are NON SMOKING. Thank you for understanding.

* No parties or events are allowed on our property .

* We reserve the right to carry out any necessary construction to keep the house functioning and safe.

* We have a NO PET policy If you bring any animals on site without a previous agreement it will result in a $150 deep cleaning fee. We will discontinue hosting anyone who violates our policy any additional fee for damages may apply if the animal destroys anything on property.

*Damages to the property including lost or damaged towels and sheets may result us requesting the price of replacement item.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

* Recycling in Mexico is not something common, but we try to contribute as much as possible and would like you to help us in this process to reduce the plastic intake. We provide transparent bags for you to put the tin cans in ; as it is the only thing that can be recycled here. Try to consume as eco-friendly as possible . We have two garbage cans outside that are located at both ends of the property in which you can deposit your trash bags.

* The plumbing in Mexico is not able to handle paper and other hygienic products to be flushed down the toilet. We kindly ask you to use the trash bin next to the toilet to flush all paper and other hygienic products.

* We kindly ask you to TURN OFF the AC when you leave home, the air conditioner are brand new, very strong and it will cool your room within minutes.

ISLAND LIFE

* This is a small Caribbean Island. The power and the water line both comes from Cancun under the Caribbean sea. Rainstorms sometimes take out the power lines we have no control over and apologize if you may experience it. We will do our best to keep you informed and comfortable in that case.

* We are in the local neighborhood. Mexican people like to enjoy life and that could result with salsa music over holidays and sometimes on the weekends, this is true for the whole Island and for Mexico in general. We can’t stop our neighbors from doing that in this country. Note that there is no noise ordinance here. Our neighborhood is very quiet most of the time however there is empty lot on Calle Escabano that belongs to the taxistas ( taxi union) who use it time to time for their families to ​mostly ​celebrate 15th birthdays or" Quinceañeras for their kids or ​gather over holidays​. These gatherings happen periodically and unfortunately we are not aware when the neighborhood will decide to get together and celebrate. We are in the active process changing our windows to soundproofing windows, adding soundproofing panels on the ceiling and soundproofing shutter and blinds to all our unit and half of our building has been completed already​. ​Besides ​these modifications ​we have provided​​ noise machine​s​, Alexas and earplugs in ​all the ​room​s​ to help our noise sensitive guest.
