Positives - Easy to find. Possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Good covered parking. Reasonable breakfast. Fast WiFi. Absolutely fantastic food in the Alpine restaurant with a melt in the mouth, perfectly cooked large fillet steak. Spotless tableware. Huge room with bathroom and seperate toilet, large living space and seperated bed area. Lots of storage space. Nice view from the balcony. Friendly and courteous staff. Negatives - Some of the woodwork, decor and carpets were looking a bit tired, but then again the rigors of the ski season probably account for that. A ceiling light bulb wasn't working. The shaving mirror bracket was broken. Shower over bath rather than seperate.

The property is next to the church, which rings it's bell at 6 am; however, this is apparently common in Austria where there are many churches. However, the breakfast, spa, and dinner were all excellent. Overall it is an excellent value (better than the apartment I am in for the balance of my stay).

The hotel is great, very central with ski lifts high standard cleanness, beds are comfortable and breakfast is exceptional. the only issue i had was no facility to make hot drink in my room. i would return again.

Perfect location by piste, bar and supermarket

An absolute gem of a hotel, and a lucky find. Quite incredible local produce, succulent tasty hams, meats, cheeses, entire meltingly sweet honey-comb, local preserves and fantastic delicious ommelettes for breakfast and near-michelin star quality evening meals! Really quite outstanding top quality food including an array of choices, venison, duck, beef, stunning pickles and sauerkraut and salads as other guests raved about and agreed. Nothing disappointed during our 5 day stay. All expectations were exceeded. Beautiful homely relaxed and dignified spa area, perfect way to detox and unwind after skiing. The ski area is an absolute treat - perfect for every level of skier/snowboarder with a great lift system and spacious uncluttered pistes with barely any queuing. Thriving town with something for everyone and the short hop to Obergurgl was a delight too. Even quieter than Solden but great terrain and lifts not to mention breathtaking views with tree skiing and 3300m glaciers similar to Solden. Will definitely be returning!! Absolutely loved it all! RS

Great Food

The food in this hotel is outstanding, breakfast had a massive choice of hot and cold food with a chef on hand to cook omelets and fry eggs to order. Dinner every night was stunning, 5 courses + loads of other options to help yourself to like sushi and Chinese. They had an Italian night and a Tyrolean evening with a fantastic choice, the restaurant also has a great ambiance.
