To tell you the truth, I was surprise that this was a four star hotel... The room was ok but the bathroom was very small and it was almost difficult to get through the door (I am a normal size person and certainly not fat!)

We arrived at the Hotel very early since we were leaving a cruise. The staff was extremely friendly. They took our luggage and locked it up and gave us so much information to go out and spend the day in beautiful Basel! Our only issue was it was very hot in our room and I couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat. It was a small issue which I am sure would have been resolved if I had called the front desk. I would absolutely stay there again!

This was a spacious room. It is not close to the Viking dock. The good part was it was across the street from the botanical garden. The staf were helpful getting us to he Viking ship on time.

The room felt a bit cold and clinical. There is a glass panel between the bathroom and the bedroom area. The light from the bathroom shines into the bed area. Not good when one person goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
