Lilac Charmer: Walk to Town

This cozy treasure just 1 mile from downtown Idyllwild, a famed local movie, this gem is decorated with warm fabrics and colors. You will feel like you are walking into a mid-century celebrity cottage, with its many windows allowing light & cool breezes. There is a large living room, dining area, kitchen & half bath on the first floor, two nice-sized bedrooms, and a master bath on the second floor. Has both large front & back porches for dining and relaxing. This home has a large front porch with seating, a fire pit, and a large back patio for dining and relaxing in the outdoor brick fireplace/grill. The large driveway allows several parking spaces. Additionally, a sizeable in-home washer and dryer are located on the first floor. Hiking, walking the town, sightseeing, visiting the nearby lakes, dining, enjoying the snow, or enjoying quiet time are just a few of the pastimes you will experience at The Lilac in Idyllwild/Pine Cove.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:
Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

- Check-in instructions: Please check in at the main office.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2, we no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age. Those under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.
