Very clean and well supplied beach house. Close to Lake Erie and parking for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay.We drove to Nickle Beach to enjoy the water and to Cedar Point for a day.

Charming Cottage

This was a perfect little house for our family of five. A nice weekend getaway from Columbus. Hoping the Rye Beach Community Association allows future guests to have access to the park and beach. It was a challenge to keep our active/curious kids away from the park. Cindy was great and even came to the house, when I had a question.

This was a cute house decorated very nice. We went to Kalahari and I would stay here again over paying the type of price Kalahari wants. Owner was very nice with good communication. Nice neighborhood. Only thing we disliked was that when we went over to the water we were approached by someone saying it was a private park and we had to have a permit to be there. Was not aware of this before hand. Just wanted to enjoy looking at the water that is pictured in this listing. If a permit is needed, I would suggest having one in the rental to use. Otherwise no complaints. Thank you for the hospitality!

I chose this location because of the proximity to the events we were attending. The house was exactly what I expected from the pictures. Walk to the water. Near private beach, and park. The Host contacted us to make sure things were as expected. Highly recommend for this area.

The property is older and needs some attention. The carpet upstairs is very stained or dirty and the beds sag in the middle. All pillows on all beds were flat and need to be replaced. The whole place just needs a good cleaning. Baseboards are dirty, blinds need cleaned, drawers in the bedrooms were dirty, refrigerator and freezer were dirty, the tile behind the sink in the bathroom had toothpaste splatters and the floor mat as a tub mat just doesn’t work to absorb water.

Restful stay on the lake, close to Cedar Point

We had a nice stay. The house was neat and clean. The venue worked well for our family of six. Cindy was helpful and very responsive. The weather was scorching during our stay. The house was very hot at check-in but cooled within a few hours. The lake is a very short walk from the house with a very small beach area. Unfortunately, it looked like the pier is permanently closed. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

What a great beach house!

The house was just what we expected. Perfect size for what we needed. It was clean and was very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The location was perfect with a short walk through a park to get to the beach. Communication with the owner was exceptional. We would definitely stay at this location again.
