Spring break

Overall stay was good. The pool was extremely cold but the kids still swam. The guy at the front desk stared a lot without saying a word so that was kinda creepy. They didn’t have extra towels available in the swimming area even though they had a shelf for towels while swimming

Air conditioner was not working. I was given a one bed replacement room. When I need 2 beds. The last room I wax given was clean on the 3rd floor. But furniture was broken (nightstand) lamp shade was torn. Tub walls dirty. White stains on the carpet in front of entry door/ Bathroom. The elevator was broken the 2nd night. The pool was dirty. Everything wax broken or out of use. No laundry room, business center or work out room available. At check in time the gentleman was so helpful.

The staff was really friendly. But once you get in rooms, the bed were unsafe. They had rails that were protruding from the bed hidden by a bed skirt. The rail knocked a gash in my leg and the hotel has no 1st Aid kit.

There is no signage telling you the name of this hotel, making it difficult to find at first. The first room they gave us on the 3rd floor the AC didn't work and it was sweltering. Hot air was coming out of the window unit. There was water damage they tried to paint over ont he ceiling and wall. That was some sort of orange liquid all over the walls and ceiling. I went to call the front desk but the phone was covered in some mysterious white substance. We grabbed our stuff and went to the front desk. The lady working was nice and changed our room to the first floor. This room was marginally cleaner but the bathroom was in disrepair. Lots of rust, the shower floor was extremely dirty and the drain catcher was ripped out or eroded? You can tell it was a Marriot before and they just took over and do the bare minimum to keep it going. Lots of ceiling tiles were missing with exposed electrical. The elevator has all the safety info ripped out and missing it's ceiling cover as well. The continental breakfast was some luke warm eggs & sausage, tang, orange juice, toast and 3 cereal choices. It wasn't the worst stay I've had but I'm not impressed. The pictures definitely.ake it seem like it's in better condition than it is.

When we got there, they put us in the wrong room. The room we were put in was below average. There is mold growing above the shower. The shower itself was not great. We wore shoes. We asked for towels but they couldn’t provide any. The pool was broken, there’s hardly anything to buy in the shop they had, the laundry and computer room were broken. The breakfast consisted of bread and spray “can’t believe it’s not butter”, cereal, and the worst looking sausage I’ve ever seen. People were trying to feed their entire families with this food that was provided. We ended up having to eat elsewhere and spend more money. When I went to call for maintenance because our toilet was clogged, I was met with an unplugged telephone, had to call on my cell phone. I requested for someone to come fix the toilet and bring us more toilet paper and was told no one was there, no maintenance or housekeeping, I could come and fix it myself or they could move me to another room. This hotel looked real cute online but it’s kinda ghetto when you get there.
