We had high hopes for our stay as we had a wedding in town but were disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. We found ourselves making multiple trips to the store for essentials like soap, linens, paper plates and cups. The pillows provided in the master bedroom were in such poor condition and dirty that we didn’t feel comfortable using them. On top of that, we encountered several Silverfish in the master suite, which made the experience even less pleasant. Additionally, the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and used, likely because the previous guests didn’t have soap to clean them either? If you stay here, be sure to bring everything with you as if you are camping (glamping?) and don’t forget the bug spray.

Houston retreat

I will highly recommend this property if your staying in the Houston area. It was well decorated and provided everything we needed. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and questions we had. The rooms were spacious and we really enjoyed the living area where we all got together.
