Great staff, great facilities. Very central location. Parking was a little expensive though, especially as our Ram 2500 was classed as “oversized” even though we’ve had it in every other hotels normal car parks on our trip.

I booked a room that could accommodate three people. When making the reservation, it was a king room with a large sofa, but upon check-in, it turned out to be the smallest room without a sofa. I inquired at the front desk, but they only said there was nothing they could do. The listing said that an extra bed could be provided for free, but when I asked at check-in, they said it was not available. One of my companions had to sleep on a small sofa. We also had to request extra bedding twice before we finally received it. I have no intention of staying here again. I do not recommend this place.

The Magnolia is a fabulous place to stay. We were there for just an over night stay. It was walking distance to Daikin Park. Only 20 minutes for Houston-Hobby airport. Valet is pricey, but that's the city. The hotel bar was a fun place to stop in and our server was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Loved my stay … will definitely stay again!

A beautiful hotel with great amenities. It was conveniently located and definitely had a boutique hotel vibe from the design, to the evening cookies, and the personalized service. The food and drinks were fantastic and the rooftop views were amazing. If I had any concerns they would be the slow elevators (became a joke amongst the guests) and the pool and gym areas weren’t as funky and fun as the rest of the hotel - they need a design redo. Loved my stay … will definitely stay again!

Terrible service

Terrible service A server by the name of Francesco or however you spell it because he approached me without a uniform so I had to ask who he was but out of nowhere he was hostile about me having outside food and when I told him that there was no signage he deliberately lied about it being rude and obnoxious. The front desk staff ignores you unless you’re of the proper hue. I hated my stay because everyone passed the bucket when it came to answering questions or getting assistance.

The property is beautifully decorated however the room had a slight mildew smell to it and the elevators were a nightmare. Sometimes we were waiting over 15 minutes for an elevator just to end up having to walk up 8 flights of stairs. Sometimes when we did get an elevator children had pressed all the buttons so we’d have to stop at every floor. One elevator was out of order so hopefully the third helps this a little when it’s in order.

Stayed here bc it was the closest hotel to The Rice. We were able to walk to it after checking in. The only thing I’d suggest is they make the check in time 3:00, like most hotels in the country.
