Super dirty rooms

Im giving this 2 stars only because the lady at the front desk was very nice, and tried to be very helpful. The first room we got was dirty. Still wet stains on the floor, and when i grabbed a towel to see about cleaning it up... the carpet was beyond filthy. The lady at the front desk gave us a different, upgraded room. The shower and sink had dirty water like someone splashed dirty mop water. There were mystery hairs on the sink, and there was something sticky around the trashcan in the bathroom. And the comforter on the bed had the same dark icky water marks. The woman at the front desk offered to move us again but... whats the point? It was a dirty hotel. She sent someone to change the sheets, and I cleaned the bathroom. I actually took several pictures to add to this review, but the app isnt letting me upload them. But I have NEVER stayed in a Hyatt like this. It was more like a Motel 6.

This property was great for what we needed for a few days in Katy visiting family. Lots of restaurants nearby. Easy parking. Security in the parking lot at night which is great. Right by the interstate as well. Very happy with my stay! Staff was friendly as well.
