We stayed in this hotel for a period of 3 weeks while our children did summer camps at nearby Rice University. The location was easy to get to and very close to the amenities of Herman Park, museum district and shopping and restaurants of Rice Village. Easy walking path to Braes Bayou park with many walking and jogging trails. There’s even an awesome nature adventure playground in the woods for kids just minute walk from the hotel. Staff were friendly & breakfast kept us going. Hotel room was large enough we didn’t feel on top of one another. I easily worked remotely from my room or the large bright sitting/flex space off the main lobby. Gym was large and well stocked. One of the beds in our room did have a pretty bad stains and dirt on the bed skirt but were promptly cleaned by staff when I notified them off it. The water fountain and water bottle filler on main floor is not working. Other complaint is although there is a kitchenette It would be really nice if there was a dishcloth, dish soap and dish towel provided (there is a dishwasher but no soap for that either).

It was an enjoyable stay with wonderful amenities. Spacious and comfortable room. We took advantage of the cozy outdoor patio with cocktails from the Garden Grill inside the hotel. Our bartender, Ryan, was one of a kind amazing and had our drinks made exactly the way we love them. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Houston.
