Amazing Mt. Hood and Valley Views at Ziphaus!

This newer home is five minutes from downtown Hood River. Located in the hills above Eastside Drive, ZipHaus has panoramic views of Mt. Hood and the orchards of the Hood River Valley. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets or relax to birdsong on our front deck. You’ll love being close to all the action Hood River has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

ZipHaus has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with the master suite on the main floor. The master has incredible views of the valley and Mt. Hood, a king bed, walk-in closet and a private full bath. The upstairs has two bedrooms (one king, one queen), two twin beds tucked into the wall of the TV room (which has a 55" flat screen, Dish and Roku), and another full bath. There's a half bath on the main floor off the laundry room. There's also a Pak N' Play and a booster style high chair for littler guests.

The kitchen is roomy and open to the dining and living rooms. It has plenty of storage and a large island with seating for four. The dining room seats six with room to spare and has fantastic views of Mt. Hood and the Valley. The living room features a gas fireplace, a 55" flat screen television, and double glass doors to the front deck. There's WiFi throughout the house. A gas grill on the back patio is available for your use, and the front deck is a relaxing place to enjoy the views with a cup of coffee or a glass of local beer or wine.

Hood River is an outdoor sporting mecca – bicycling, wind surfing, hiking, skiing, kayaking, SUP and just about any other snow or water sport you can think of! Our garage is perfect for storing all of your outdoor gear.

Located just five minutes off I-84, ZipHaus has easy access to the Fruit Loop, Mosier Twin Tunnels, the Whoopdee Trail for hiking and mountain biking, and great cycling routes right out the front door. In the winter, you're just 30-40 minutes from world class downhill skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, miles of cross-country skiing at Teacup Lake and Cooper Spur Mountain (along with some easy downhill runs), sledding at Little Jon and White River Sno Parks, and miles and miles of snowshoeing.

Gorgeous property with incredible views of Mt Hood from many windows inside the home. Outside the front deck is a fantastic place to sit and visit in a quiet setting. It's also a great place to watch the sunsets and stargaze at night! Everything in the home is immaculate with all the necessities! Highly recommend this place! We stayed for a family wedding and it was perfect! Quiet and out of town but close enough to not be too far away. Outstanding!!!! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Breathtaking View!

Ziphaus is the BEST VRBO I've ever stayed in. Diane was very efficient with her communication and was an amazing host! I loved how she shared ideas of things to do and places to visit. If you visit falls along the Columbia Gorge, I highly recommend the Waterfalls Trolley. We didn't have to worry about parking and Mae was so friendly and good at narrating all the interesting history of the area. I also recommend going on a bike ride to the Twin Tunnels. Todd at Pedal and Paddle was very accommodating, and boy was it a beautiful ride! It was so hard to believe this place was real! The property was immaculate, the neighborhood was beautiful and the view was awe inspiring! I felt like I had jumped into a picturesque post card and got to enjoy all that it had to offer. This place just took our breath away! It was such a great escape from the Texas summer heat. Thank you, Diane for an unforgettable trip!

Lovely home close to skiing and Hood River

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house! My husband really loved cooking in the gorgeous and well-provisioned kitchen and we all enjoyed the giant windows with the lovely surroundings. It was super convenient for skiing and snow tubing at Mount Hood and a short hop to Hood River with the art galleries, stores and great restaurants. Wonderful stay at Hood River

This was our forth and final stay on a wine tasting excursion. There were 3 brothers and one sister. While this place was a step up in price, it was well worth it. It had the best kitchen, best seating around the fireplace and TV, and best location/view. We did cook here and my one brother loved the cooktop. Gorgeous setting. The wonderful view showed off the colors of fall and the picture changed as the sun varied the light over the course of the day. Two of our group enjoyed the 2 1/2(?) mile walk to town. Recommend you only go in and out through the garage until you've read the instructions on glass doors that have special locks (aargh). All agreed - 5 stars.
