The unit is equipped with all the basic essentials for a comfortable, relaxing stay. This place is only steps away from the famous international Marketplace, renowned restaurants, shopping, and tour guides.

This is a well-equipped and tastefully decorated condo with everything you need, set in a prime location just blocks from iconic Waikiki Beach. This memorable hidden gem offers all the modern conveniences to make your stay as comfortable and productive as desired. Perfect for family, couples or just alone to retreat.

The interior offers a Queen bed in the bedroom, one full bath, and an ample living/dining area. The Living Room has a Queen size sofa bed and one rollaway bed. Comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests!

For your comfort, we provide free internet Wifi throughout the hotel and unit, cable TV, toiletries, clean linens, hair dryer, iron, and beach towels. Our full kitchen has all the amenities, including a full-size oven, full-size fridge, coffee maker with coffee, toaster, kettle, air fryer, simple pot & pans, utensils, glassware, sides, and all the bar essentials to whip up your favorite cocktail.

Most of our guests don't have to rent a car because the condo is so centrally located. There are numerous ways of transportation if you choose not to rent a car. There are Biki (bike-share), stand-up electric scooter rentals, moped rentals, Taxis, Uber, Lyft, tour shuttles, and convenient public transportation available right in front of the building.

If you choose to rent a car, the building offers paid parking. Please contact the front desk for the parking fee as the building management may change it from time to time. Please call the Bamboo Waikiki Hotel front desk to make a reservation in advance (especially during peak seasons and holidays).

GUEST VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

The location is very convenient, especially if you aren't renting a car, with the beach a short walk away and bus stops conveniently close. We walked out every morning to find some breakfast and explore. It was nice to have the separate bedroom and living areas. We appreciated having the beach chairs and umbrella to use.The rental is on a very busy, noisy street, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for light sleepers. All in all, this is a nice home base for a visit to Waikiki.

Amazing location just one block from Waikiki Beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. If you plan to rent a car to explore the North Shore or the east side of the island, major rental agencies like Avis and Budget are only about a 10-minute walk away.The host was very responsive and made the entire experience seamless. Free overnight parking can sometimes be found along Ala Wai Boulevard, but it can be tricky.This is a private room in the Bamboo hotel. While the hotel’s common areas and lobby are a bit dated, the private room itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider booking again on our next visit to Waikiki.

Really a great spot to stay in. I come to Waikiki a few times a year and can say this place is close enough to the mayhem zone, but far enough way where you don’t hear too much of it. My friend slept in the bed and I slept in the cot. Comfortable sleeps. The AC was clutch and the kitchen was perfect for stovetop cooking. Only complaints would be more directed at the complex itself. We had an early checkout (10am) with late flights (7 and 8pm), so we had to find another place to keep our luggage since the complex would not allow us to keep our storage there (since we were staying in a private residence instead the complex itself)… also - there is no gym at that complex. Had to get day passes elsewhere.

Clean, great location. No parking.

This place is a great deal for the price. Great location, super yummy restaurants right nearby.My only issue was that there is no parking provided. You have to find your own and it runs about 50 a night. Patio provides lots of beach toys but no real seating.Also, lots advertise as parking on site.

The location was fantastic a 2 min walk to the beach and very central to all shopping. The room itself had everything we needed. Great location but noisy

The location was great and the pictures were accurate, though some items are quite worn. You can hear a lot of street noise from the bathroom window- so I recommend bringing a sound machine. We had one and still got woken up by people outside. The kitchen was nice to have and there is a great market a block or two away where you can buy lots of groceries. All the beach equipment was great to use! The washer though is NOT in the unit. It’s a paid machine on a different floor. The building the unit is in is not as nice as the unit. The manager was easy to communicate with.

Scary Parking

Description of unit was misleading: little or no privacy in this unit as all guests had to go thru single bedroom to reach single bathroom. Open vent to Kuhio makes the bedroom very noisy This unit is not suitable for a small child or infant ...at least if they like to move around and play. There are adequate towels, linens and beach items. Lanai listed in the description is very tiny. Pool was not clean and the same trash sat on the floor by our unit for 3 days. Our main source of dissatisfaction with this unit was the location and logistics of the parking -which we reserved ahead of time and paid $25 per night for. Upon arrival we found the incline of the ramp to what we named a 'basement, waterfilled, junkyard with about 10 extremely narrow spots" was impossible for us to safely navigate in the mini van we had rented...and mentioned renting to the desk clerk when reserving parking. A little Aloha style heads-up about the scary parking instead of indifference would have been awesome. We spent a long time looking for alternative parking after a full day of travel and eventually paid hourly to park at the zoo which was a long way from the Bamboozle especially with an infanat and an adult with physical limitations. To be fair location is great...close to beach and lots of shopping and places to eat but parking is a total rip off.

Great location but leaves more to be desired

We stayed here with our family (including 3 small children) for 5 nights. The location is fantastic as you are only 2 blocks to Waikiki Beach and have lots of access to restaurants and transit easily if needed. The photos of the unit are accurate and we found it a little small for 5 people. There is a kitchen but it is not well stocked (doesn't have a stopper for the kitchen sink to do dishes and initially has no dish towels to dry). My guess is most people who rent here don't really use the kitchen. Communication with the management company was great and they brought dish towels. Unfortunately, they couldn't confirm if there was any beach umbrellas etc so I went ahead and rented items to ensure our kids had shade at the beach. Then when we arrived at the unit we discovered they actually had everything we would have needed and didn't need to rent. It was challenging to arrange drop off of the rental beach items and baby items as the management company won't allow access to the unit before you arrive. This has not been my experience renting several times on Maui where the items can be dropped off before you arrive and picked up after you leave. It just added some extra stress to the vacation. You also can't do any laundry in the building unless you have credit cards from a US bank which was frustrating. The pool wasn't very clean and we chose not to use it at all. Overall it was a very economical option compared to other rentals but I'm not sure we would stay again with small kids as we would like a few more amenities.
