Old becomes new & inviting

Sioux City is my hometown, try to get back when possible, always tryung new hotels to stay for myself and my fur babies. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the old Howard Johnson had been remodeled and was now a Doubletree! Enjoyed the stay, clean rooms, courteous staff, will definitely be adding this locarion as a favorite! They do allow dogs, but not much area to walk them or area to dispose of poo. There is a mud lot next to the property, would make for an ideal spot for pet owners if they turned it into a small "park" area with seating and grass play area for pets.

Great hotel - King rooms not for 4

Great new hotel. Nicely done. Great service. Be aware that it appears the king rooms claim to sleep 4 but do not have a sleeper sofa ass shown and sleeping 4 would be impossible.
