Welcome to your private oasis in the heart of Homer!

Perfectly located within walking distance to local restaurants, parks, and scenic hiking trails, our home offers both convenience and a peaceful retreat. Tucked away with a spacious backyard, the property has a charming secret-garden feel — complete with a kids’ play set and a cozy fire pit for relaxing evenings under the Alaskan sky.

The south-facing deck gets plenty of sunshine, making it the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a day of adventure. Enjoy patio seating, a dining table, and a propane grill for outdoor meals and gatherings.

Inside, the home features:

**2 comfortable bedrooms**

* Each with a queen bed
* One bedroom also includes a twin bunk bed above the queen
*1 full bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. As well as an ironing board, iron, and laundry detergent.
*Washer and dryer* for your convenience
* A living room couch that converts into a sleeper for an additional guest
* A rocking chair with an ottoman
*Books, games, and puzzles
*A dining room table with 4 chairs as well as a large island with 3 stools.
* A fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, baking sheets, a blender, hand mixer, Tupperware, and everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals.
* We have both a Coffee maker as well as a Keurig and supply enough coffee to get you started for the next morning.

Enjoy an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions, and reach the harbor in just a 10-minute drive.

We’re both kid- and dog-friendly (please let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing a dog). The home comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests and offers ample parking space for an extra car (or two) — and even your boat.

Cozy cabin

Nothing but positive things to say about this cozy cabin. Generally well appointed/stocked however, if I might make a constructive suggestion, it would be to add a cutting board in the kitchen and a mirror of some sort in the new bedroom. A small fan would have been a bonus, as it was quite warm and without screens on most of the windows we were hesitant to open the windows for fresh air. These were the only things that would have improved the stay even more. Otherwise we loved the house!

Very nice

The property was very nice--very clean--plenty of room for our group of 3--could comfortably house more. Everything necessary was there and all appliances were modern and worked well. It came with all you would need--it was clear to me that the owner provided not only what we would need, but everything we might need or want.

Perfect

Loved the location. We could have walked to restaurants shopping or the grocery store. The backyard was so peaceful and loved to be able to grill. Never heard a neighbor besides the occasional chicken which was cute! The extra amenities like hand soap, dishsoap, toilet paper ect was so nice to have so we didn't spend a fortune on those things. I have recommended to friends and family already.

A Homer oasis right in town

Our stay was fantastic! The house is directly in town but on a side road so it’s not too busy. It’s one street away from Karen Hornaday Park which has a huge playground. Chantrelle recommended several great places to eat and all the local insight for beach combing and fishing. Her place looks like it’s brand new and the kids LOVED the back yard. The house had everything we needed and then some but Chantrelle was really easy to connect with in case you had any additional questions. We’ll be back for sure!
