Welcome to Beachcomber, located in Surf City, NC on beautiful Topsail Island! Being oceanfront means the views steal the show here, with pelicans soaring by, dolphins swimming past, and the breathtaking ever-changing colors of the sea and sky. Just run down the back steps, cross the dune, and voila! You're on the beach, ready to play in the surf and sand all day long!

This oceanfront duplex townhome has a reverse floor plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 10. Decorated in an updated cheerful coastal vibe, it's perfect for a large family, or 2 smaller families traveling together. We've also hosted couples looking for a quiet getaway, and mother/daughter vacations. Lots of options! You can view the floor plan in the photos.

Three bedrooms are on the lower level, including a King bedroom with private bath that faces oceanside and steps out to the lower deck. 2 bunk rooms with twin-over-full bunks share a balcony overlooking the front courtyard. Hall bathroom provides a shower/tub combo, and washer/dryer closet.

The lower deck offers an inviting 6-person hot tub for relaxing, and letting your cares float away. There's also an outdoor shower for a quick rinse after returning from the beach.

Upstairs there is another King bedroom with its own bathroom, and private balcony overlooking the front courtyard.

The living, kitchen, and dining area is one big open space for everyone to hang out together. We love the high ceilings and wall of windows that provide an endless expanse of sky and sea. This room has a queen sleep sofa if needed, and a cabinet filled with fun, family games.

The cooks in your group will enjoy our fully stocked kitchen ready to prepare a simple meal or a full-course dinner. We have a Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, and plenty of pots, pans and bakeware.

For mealtimes, our table seats 8, there are stools at the kitchen counter, and best of all, the deck offers dining alfresco while soaking in that spectacular view!

Bedding, bath towels, and hot tub towels are provided for your convenience.

For families with small children, we have a wooden high chair, booster seat, pack-n-play, and baby gate for the interior stairs.

There are 3 smart TVs in the house - just login to your own streaming account and enjoy! We also have high speed internet access.

Our beach supplies include beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, child beach toys

Parking is available for 4 cars - 2 under the home, and 2 on the driveway.

The home has keyless entry, and you'll receive a code shortly before arrival.

Please be mindful there are many stairs here - a flight to the front entry, a stairwell inside the home, and many deck stairs on the ocean side. There is also a dune to cross when accessing or leaving the beach, which is consistent with many oceanfront properties on the island.

The house is conveniently located less than 1 mile from the Surf City Bridge, and Surf City Pier. We are walkable to many restaurants and eateries on the island. Many of our guests enjoy strolling along the beach and then taking the public access closest to their desired destination, or meandering through the neighborhoods.

We provide a Welcome Tote with some basic items to help with your first night like toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags. Please plan to pack/buy any additional disposable or specialty kitchen, bathroom, and laundry items required for the length of your stay.

There's a Walmart Neighborhood Market, Food Lion, Publix, and CVS before you cross the bridge to the island to stock up on supplies. Surf City IGA is on the island nearby.

One of the most remarkable things about Topsail Island is it's a turtle sanctuary. Turtles nest between May and August, and hatch from July into October. To learn more about the turtles, consider a visit to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (purchase tickets ahead on their website).

Other fun to-dos include the Surf City Ocean Pier, the Missiles and More Museum, and Soundside Park with its playground, picnic tables, and fun activities like fishing, walking trails, bird watching, and more! My family also loves Surf City Jet Ski & Watersports to jet ski freestyle in the Intracoastal Waterway!

A signed Rental Agreement is required to rent this property.

Pets - We love dogs, but we do have some family allergies, and only allow 1 small dog under 20 lbs. and over 12 months (no puppies). There is a $200.00 non-refundable pet fee. Please specify breed at booking. Dog must be housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date on all shots, and have no fleas or bite history. Guest must provide their own dog supplies. We do not allow dogs on any beds or furniture for the comfort of our own family, and future guests, as pet hair is difficult to remove from linens and upholstery. Guest must agree to pet rules in the required Renter's Agreement.

Security Deposit - A security deposit hold of $395 will be placed on card 3 days prior to arrival.

Discounts - We adjust our prices to reflect the current market, our location and the amenities we offer. We do not accept discount requests.

Trip Insurance - We encourage all Guests to purchase trip insurance to protect themselves against any seen or unforeseen events that would prevent or disrupt their trip, including personal emergencies, inclement weather, etc. Per NOAA the Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 1 - November 30. Trip insurance will be offered at the time of Booking. We do not offer refunds outside our posted policies.
