Nice hotel with sea view. Rooms were comfortable and decent size. It's within walking distance to popular restaurants. The staff were most helpful.

Generally good hotel We stayed for one night Pictures are not completely match the reality, maybe they were taken when hotel was open, now it looks a bit “tired”, though still good The only big disadvantage - no elevator

Very nice hotel except for the mattresses. Pretty lousy. Why can't most hotels get it right? We stay at hotels to SLEEP ! That's the most important part of the stay - the mattress.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Berjaya Hotel in Höfn was disappointing. The overall feel of the property was more like a borderline hostel than a proper hotel, which was not what we expected based on the listing and previous reviews. The lack of an elevator made handling luggage difficult, especially after a long day of travel. What stood out most, however, was the unwelcoming attitude of the staff. Unlike other places we stayed in Iceland, we didn’t feel any warmth or hospitality here. It was one of the few stops on our trip where we genuinely wished we had chosen a different place to stay. Had earlier reviews reflected our experience more accurately, we likely would have made other arrangements. Sadly, we can’t recommend this hotel.
