Very helpful staff

Perfectly comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet with minimal packaging - even the butter and jams have no packaging. Best to arrive by car as it's not set in a beautiful part of town.

Cute maritime decor in the entire hotel and a sandy beach in front of the patio that nobody would expect in this region. unfortunately, the many smokers cause an odor even in the rooms and the old carpet doesn’t help. My room was located next the linen room. Rattling carts and a banging door wike me up at 6 am.

there was plastic rubbish on the floor, taxi pre booked through reception didn't show so I was 30 mins late to a wedding, washing machine next to my room running at 2 am, etc. just do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else

Friendly but dated

Friendly hotel but somewhat dated in style with its ship/sailing theme. I figure they’re trying to be different, but some of the features aren’t that practical (such as a surround over the bed that blocks the adjacent shelf from use). I’d be happier with a more contemporary style that offers a comfort stay.

Avoid in summer - no A/C

No air conditioning, no elevator, no fresh towels or bed-making on Sundays. Would not stay there again.

Dorint Stopover

We stop off at the Dorint Hotel in Alzey on our way to and from Italy. Its a great place to stay, friendly staff, excellent accommodation for the price. We stayed ther three time now

Stopover Alzey

We stopped at the Dorint Hotel in Alzey Germany en route to and from Italy. It was conveniently close to the motorway, easy access. It was very clean and welcoming with a quirky beach theme. Would recommend a stay here.

Good but no air con

Staff were excellent, very clean hotel and food was good. The only negative for us was no air conditioning on an extremely hot night meant an uncomfortable night. On a cooler night or with air conditioning I would recommend this hotel.

Good price, needs improvement

The room was very small and very hot and stuffy. Somehow I was supposed to know to ask someone for a fan (ventilator). At checkout, I was told the hotel is old and can't deal with warm weather well. Additionally, they should move the ashtrays from in front of the main entrance to a more appropriate location. Too bad, its not a bad place overall.

Ideal location for a beach hotel!!

Ideal location next to Autobahn and easy to access with free parking. Quite recently renovated so in good condition and they’ve embraced the beach theme!
