House was perfect! Great location, beautiful view and centrally located to many amazing hikes. Beds were extreamly comfortable and house was clean and well stocked. The host Evan was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Overall it was an amazing trip and we are already planning for next year.

This was my partner and my third visit to Evans Place, and we absolutely love it. While we’re not fishermen, I understand that’s a big draw for many people—but for me, the mountain and river views alone make it completely worth it.The cabin is very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Stores are conveniently located about 10 minutes away, which makes things easy without taking away from the peaceful, secluded feel.If you have dogs, they will absolutely love it here. The entire property is beautiful—from the wildflowers growing along the hillside and throughout the yard to the private river access. It’s just a special place all around. I would live here in a heartbeat.

This is a great little place on the New River. Wonderful views. It had great little touches, like bottled water, night lights in each room, new, non scratched, pots and pans, and comfy beds. I would recommend highly.

Perfect location, across the street from river. 5 minutes to a few stores along riverbank, 10 minutes to Hinton. Lots of space in the house. Nice furnishings..Bed had quality mattress, comfortable couch and recliner.
