Private Home with Screened-In Pool Very Close to the Beach!

Come enjoy this very private home with easy access to the beach and a single-level floor plan located on Palmetto Dunes' 11-mile lagoon system!

The kitchen is upgraded with custom cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with everything you'll need to cook for the whole family if you so desire. There is also an extensive bar/island in the kitchen with seating for five.

The living room is nicely furnished with comfortability in mind. The TV is a large Smart TV. The fireplace cannot be used by guests.

The Primary -suite has a king bed, Smart TV and en-suite Primary bathroom. The Primary bathroom has a his/hers vanity along with a walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom contains a queen bed, Smart TV and its own guest bathroom down the hall. The first guest bathroom consists of a tub and shower combination. The second guest bedroom is great for kids with its two sets of twin bunk beds. The second guest bathroom also consists of a tub and shower combination.

Just off the living and kitchen areas is the screened-in pool and spa along with a small deck with your own private propane grill walkway leading to your own boat dock (boats/kayaks not included). Set off Mooring Buoy road by about 100 yards and surrounded by lush vegetation, you'll get the privacy you desire without sacrificing distance to the beach. Just across the street from the beach access!

The spa and pool can be heated (June 1st- October 1st) for an additional fee.

House beautiful but not very clean

The house is beautiful but the bathrooms and furniture were dirty. We asked several times to have the pool heated, which was advertised in the listing but it became a big deal because it was seasonal. Seasonal means something different to each region. The pool heater was shut off after a week, which in turn shut off the filter and the pool ended up being gross. They did construction across the street and next door. The workers all argued and swore all day long, I have 4 children that had to listen to that. We rented bikes that were very beat up and falling apart. This is our 8th trip to the island and was pretty disappointed this time.

Beautiful Palmetto Dunes House with Great Beach Access

Pros: Gorgeous house with beach access path right across the street. Perfect kitchen well stocked with everything you could need to cook + outdoor grill. Upgraded master bath with amazing shower, vanity, etc. Enclosed pool and spa were perfect once we were able to get them heated. It's still outdoors but enclosed by screened caging to keep debris and wildlife out. Property is an easy bike ride to main strip of Palmetto Dunes. Cons: Very few cons. Main one is that we wrestled with the property management company to get the heat to the pool and spa turned on, despite our immediate request and offer to pay. Eventually it happened, but it was halfway into our trip. Make sure to check before booking on if heating pool will be possible and how much it will be. Only other con was a very, very slight cigar smell in master bedroom, which I think may have been from a previous guest and hopefully will dissipate or be cleaned. Overall, we loved this house and would definitely consider booking it again (after confirming they'd heat the pool on the first day :))!
