Awful service. No attention to detail

The fire alarm was broken in my room, there was unknown socks in a drawer, bug traps in a cabinet and a piece of the floor was peeling up. The blankets were no thicker than a couple sheets. Front desk was not friendly and would not allow me to cancel my stay because it was after check in time. I found a bug in my bed as well.

A $71 room

I arrived close to midnight. The lady who checked in was extremely friendly, courteous and efficient. However, the room was very worn. The bed had clean sheets on it, but they didn’t really do any deep cleaning in between guests. There was dust over a lot of furniture And I noticed hair on the bathroom floor from the previous guest so I am assuming they didn’t vacuum.

The motel was OK for a place to sleep one night. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good. There was a stain on one of the beds (mattress pad, mattress, dust ruffle) that looked like something spilled off the night stand and wasn't cleaned up thoroughly.

Definitely not a hotel for travelers, but for local transients. Stayed one night just for a place to rest, that's all it's worth. People were hanging around outside staring me down while I was going to my room like I was the new guy in a prison yard. The entire hallway and rooms reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke even though they were all non-smoking. The entire room was dingy and dirty and woke up with a sore throat from the smoke, dust and pet dander.

3 biggest factors for me when staying at a hotel: 1) Price - was on the high side but still affordable. 2) Cleanliness- room was clean, no issues. 3) Comfort - bed was so soft and mushy. Very uncomfortable. We much prefer a firm mattress. In addition, the bathroom contained a large garden tub. Not a desirable choice for us. We are in our 60’s and this type of tub is difficult for us to get in and out of (in order to shower you need to use) and dangerous for falling. We were not advised when we booked the room that it had this type of tub. On the positive side, the parking lot was well lit. Also, no ice machines were convenient to our room. Had to walk to the next building. Overall, not a horrible experience but not great. We would not choose it again.

Great All-Around Place to Stay

Great go-to hotel when we are in the area, and incredibly affordable. The owner pays close attention to the security of the hotel, so we always feel safe. The breakfast is always delicious.
