The hotel itself was nice. The free breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, frozen sausage biscuits, and breads. The bed and the pillows were hard, the curtains didn't black out the outside light, and there was outside noise. Sleep was elusive. I wouldn't stay there again just because of the hard bed and pillows.

Fast and easy check in. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean. I did not see any loitering outside. Staff is easily spotted. If there is an issue they are very quick to correct it.

The room smelled heavily like cigarette smoke. We noticed the smoke detector was covered by a plastic grocery bag. There was no hot water when we took a shower which is a first.

It’s fair, not bad for sure. Just kept being 2 “guests” I assume standing nearly in the door smoking something and just didn’t feel “good” about it. Not a high end property (which we understood aforehand) and therefore not as expensive as others (which we needed too) therefore it attracts more of this i suppose. BUT there’s PLENTY of room to stand around smoking and chatting in another language out away from the door where guests are trying to go in and out. It’s 2025, people should know what I mean when I say this, that it just didn’t make me feel all warm and fuzzy about our choice for the night. My wife did NOT like the smell of the room either… for what that’s worth.

The room is very dusty. The coverlet on the bed is stained. There is food spatter on the walls and the drapes. The desk area was stained. The outside of the cabinets in the sink area is dirty with fingerprints and smeared. The wall on the back side of the sink where the air/heat blows is full of dust. The carpeting is filthy.
