The front desk check-in was quick,courteous and professional, although we were surprised by the $75 amenity fee. You do get it back after checkout, but good to know if your gas, meals, etc are budgeted. All of the employees we interacted with were courteous & friendly. The room was clean & spacious, best water pressure in a hotel shower you'll ever experience. Great breakfast options, clean area. There is a sign that says to keep the breakfast foods in the breakfast area tho, which can be inconvenient for those of us who sometimes like to eat together, alone, in our room. 4 ft indoor pool 9am-9pm.

The room was clean and comfortable, the check-in and breakfast associates friendly and helpful. However, around 9:30am with our "Privacy Please" sign hung on the outside door handle, we got a rapid knock knock knock and the door was IMMEDIATELY opened without time to respond. With the privacy tag we should expect no knocks, let alone uninvited entrance! Luckily we had the latch across, it banged twice against the latch and then was shut. To be clear we had not checked out, which is at 11am, and our privacy hanger was in place. What is going on with housekeeping or whomever else has door access?

The door to the first room we were assigned did not close properly and we did not feel safe in the room knowing someone could look directly into the room through the opening between the door and the door jam. We were in a room with a connecting door so we could all be with our entire family. We were moved to another room, but not a connecting room which took away from our experience of being there together. The hotel did not seem to be completely booked, but they acted as if no other rooms were available to move us to another room with a connecting room. Staff was pleasant but acted as if they were not aware of the door issues and were unable to resolve. We did move to a different room, but we were no longer in a room with connecting door. If we were able to be moved to a new room with a connecting door, the stay would have been perfect, but since this was a priority and not accommodated, it definitely took away from our experience.
