The log house is renovated and fully equipped. In the living / dining room there are two sofas, and sit together or watching TV. Two large patio doors leading directly onto the terrace and in the spacious garden. The dining area can accommodate 4 persons. In the small kitchen everything is housed what you need. Refrigerator, stove with oven, coffee maker and kettle. then stands for a relaxed sleep in the sleeping area (above the living room by stairs) a 1. 80m x 2. 00m large, double bed ready and an extra bed. read or rest to you can to. 2 Living retire. The comfortable sofa can be converted also to a sofa bed.

Great place to enjoy nature

Located right next to Eifel National Park, this comfortable cabin was a great place to enjoy a few peaceful days taking long walks and having some great meals.

Excellent Property with plenty of space

Normally a very quiet place. During the Kirmes weekend in September music will be heard until 2am at the weekend. Otherwise this place is in a good location. Everything is very clean and the host is most generous in providing lots of towels, toiletries etc. We had a good time. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay - sehr schon

Stayed for 4 nights in August to go walking and cycling in the Eifel National Park. It was very close by and the trails could reached within 5 minutes by foot or bike. The chalet was lovely - very clean and in a beautiful setting with lovely views from the sunny terrace. Had everything we needed and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The town of Heimbach is also very pretty and a nice place to walk to (a bit of a hill on the way back!). Thoroughly recommend and would love to come back again.

Has a nice view and the host is very kind although you need to speak some german in order to communicate effectively.

Schönes Blockhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben ein paar Tage in diesem schönen, sauberen und ruhig gelegenem Blockhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist mit allen notwendigen Gegenständen sowohl für innen wie auch aussen ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber Familie Küpper isi sehr freundlich. Wir können das Haus weiter empfehlen und wütden auch wieder kommen.

Schwer enttäuscht

Kann man nicht weiter empfehlen. Das ganze Haus roch muffig, und war vollgestellt mit alten Möbeln. Bett, Fußboden ,Treppe zur Galerie knarrten so laut, schlafen war ein Problem. Fenster und Türen waren schlecht zu öffnen und zu schließen. Die Gastherme auf der Galerie (Schlafraum) war sehr störend. Die Außenanlage war sehr ungepflegt. Der Wirlpool war auf dem Nachtbargrundstück, war leider nicht nutzbar. Im ganzen alles alt und ungepflegt.J.Thurl

Klein aber fein!

Wir haben zu dritt einen tollen Urlaub in der gemütlichen Blockhütte verlebt. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich mit Blumen und Getränken empfangen. Die Hütte ist sehr behaglich eingerichtet, und man findet in der Küche alles, was man braucht. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Unternehmungen: abendliche Wanderung zum Meuchelberg, Burg Hengebach, Kloster Mariawald, Kraftwerk Heimbach (muss vorher gebucht werden), Schiffsfahrt auf dem Rursee. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die neu eröffnete Pizzeria in Heimbach. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Gemütlich, ruhig und toll zum Entspannen!

Gemütlich, ruhig und toll zum Entspannen! Ja, so war unser Aufenthalt in Heimbach. Im Haus haben wir uns zu zweit wirklich wohl gefühlt und Urlaub machen können. Wer das Jugendtil-Kraftwerk besichtigen möchte, sollte auch schon vor der Reise bei der RWE dafür anmelden!

Es war sehr schön in Heimbach

Es hat uns gut im Ferienhaus der Familie Küpper gefallen. Es ist schön kuschelig und gemütlich für 2 Personen. Die Küche hatte im Wesentlichen alles, was man für die Selbstversorgung benötigt. Wir haben auch die schöne Terrasse, die nicht nur mit Tischen und Stühlen, sondern auch mit Liegen bestückt war umfangreich nutzt. Beim Bäcker unten im Ort konnten wir uns jeden morgen mit frischen Brötchen versorgen und in den 2 vorhandenen Supermärkten bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Zu Fuß ist man allerdings schon gute 25-30 Miunten unterwegs, vor allem wenn man auf dem Rückweg den Berg wieder hoch muss. Da wir mit unserem Urlaub Mitte September wohl auch schon außerhab der Saison lagen, hatten viele Restaurants und Läden von montags bis donnerstags geschlossen. Was wir im Ferienhaus allerdings erfolglos gesucht haben, war der in der Anzeige angegebene Wirlpool. Dieser war einer unserer Auswahlkriterien und den gab es leider nicht. Die Küche ist sehr klein, so dass man sich zu Zweit ständig auf den Füßen steht. Aber es war alles sehr sauber und vor allem der angenehme Geruch der Wäsche ist uns sehr positiv aufgefallen. Da wir in Heimbach einfach nur mal 5 Tage entspannen wollten, haben wir mit dem Ferienhaus genau die richtige Wahl getroffen.

Vergnüglicher Kurztrip im Holzhaus

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Umgebung und trotzdem ist tagsüber alles zentral erreichbar. Wanderwege, der See oder Gastronomie ist gut erreichbar. Das Haus bietet genug Platz, wir konnten Grillen und uns Entspannen. Wir kommen bestimmt bald Mal wieder.

Uriges Blockhaus mit toller Aussicht

Gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Blockhaus am Fuße des Meuchelbergs. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert zum Entspannen.
