Cheap Hotels near Belmopan (BCV) Airport

I had a very pleasant stay at the resort. I booked one of the small cabins (queen bed) and it was very clean, shower, WC, and A/C worked well without any problems. I had a cute tiny lizard keeping me company in the cabin - perks of being in the jungle. :) One guest mentioned the noise from the highway - the cabins aren't noise insulated, but the traffic is way less compared to other American cities. The pool is not that deep so it's totally safe for non-swimmers and the pool area is well kept. I enjoyed just laying around, reading, and floating in the water. On the weekends they offer pool day passes to non-guests which is a nice touch. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Gene recommended a lot of activities and sightseeing opportunities available to tourists. Plenty of parking was available and I was allowed to park close to the cabin. I cannot say anything about the restaurant, since I ate outside the resort. For my fellow European and North American travelers: this is a Belizean hotel and standards differ from your country. But I am sure you as well will enjoy your stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this unique property. We chose the cabanas which were so different than any other room we stayed in before (but a bit buggy). The pool was great and refreshing! It is convenient to have dinner at the hotel especially on your arrival day.

Good for single traveler; ok restaurants close by; Belmopan is a very nice town

The positive- Clean, spacious house with full kitchen and amazing location. Great AC, hot water, safe for walking to the grocery store or enjoying activities in the city, Clear, friendly commutation with the host. Improvements- I would like to have had seating on the huge veranda or car port to enjoy the outdoors but it is more set up to spend time inside. Mattress are on the lower end so that make it rough on the back and it’s covered in a plastic protector that makes it noisy and hot when sleeping. Overall great stay- clean and affordable
