Oceanfront-Modern-Romantic Getaway

Oceanfront efficiency located on Hatteras Island in Hatteras Village. Steps away from the beach. Our full kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is very well equipped. We have everything from martini glasses to a coffee press. Our full bath has a walk-in 48' shower with plenty of storage. The queen captains bed has a comfy pillow top mattress, for a great nights sleep. The queen sleeper sofa is great to just stretch out on and read a good book. We have 2 bar height chairs on our upper deck for star gazing and a dining table with 4 chairs on our lower deck. The front balcony is perfect to just kick back and sip some of your favorite adult beverage. There are plenty of community grills and a fish cleaning station, just in case you reel the big one in. Come spend your vacation at our cozy romantic cabana. Life is just better on the island!

Easy to work with and set up. Also very easy to find once in Hatteras. close to just about anything you could need and the beach access was great (a ramp versus stairs). The rooftop deck was nice to relax on and nice to have a covered spot for the car (it rained the day we checked out). As for the interior, spacious for two people. Anything you would need to cook with was available and all we provided were a few minor items. The bed was very comfortable and really liked the storage drawers under it. TV was easy to operate but the owner did mention the signal could be slow at times. The bathroom was spacious and being a taller guy, liked the shower head height (no crouching to wash my hair). The only draw backs were I couldn't get the heat / A/C unit to warm up the room, but we weren't in the room that much. And finally leaving. Would rather have stayed there longer to enjoy the area.Will definitely look at this place for future OBX visits so thanks for a great stay in a great cabana!R&M

Terri is an excellent host! Very responsive and accommodating. We were arriving early and since it’s the winter season she so graciously allowed us to check in at noon. The cabana was stocked with everything you could need, the bed was super comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. Very pleased with our stay!

We stayed in this location the previous year and loved it. It's a great area with a fairly quiet beach and a few great local spots to eat or get coffee. The kitchen has what you need, but we had decided to do so minimally this time around. The rooftop deck is a great place to sit in the evenings with a good view of the sunsets. We really enjoyed our second trip and would definitely book again. Check in is easy as is checking out. Highly recommend.

We requested 6 days after reading minimum stay but we were forced to pay a night to keep the booking. I would not consider it a romantic getaway. There really was no privacy sitting outside the Cabana. We had very loud people staying on each side of us.

Perfect Beach Cottage in Prime Location

We had the most amazing stay at this beach cottage in Hatteras! The location is unbeatable—steps away from the beach, with gorgeous views and the soothing sounds of the ocean all day long. The cottage itself was charming, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the cozy decor, the spacious deck, and the fact that we could walk to nearby shops and restaurants.The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back to this slice of paradise in Hatteras—highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation!

Great weekend getaway

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I - access to the beach, and minutes from Hatteras Marina where we went out for a fishing charter. While the square footage is small, we had just enough space to enjoy a long weekend close to all things wonderful on Hatteras Island. Host, check-in, and information provided was all clear and easily navigable. Thanks for a great stay!
