Be sure you include your age as you make this reservation. If you don’t, no one will ask. Even though I have been on VRBO for over 10 years, our reservation was cancelled without prior notification. I had previously notified the owner we would arrive late and she had said that there was no problem with a late arrival. At 10:21pm, we were driving in Hatillo and VRBO notified us that our reservation was cancelled and they would refund our money! The customer service said there were no hotels available in the area, so we were stranded. The email received stated that the reason for cancellation was age related. What?
