Super clean, very spacious, friendly desk and cleaning service. Great stay when visiting my son who attends Henry’s University. Dining there is convenient but waitstaff is not engaging. Food is okay.
Got billed 3x for my stay. Took couple days to get cleared up. Not a lot of dining options nearby. Breakfast and foood options were good at the hotel restaurant. Nice rail trail nearby for walking or jogging. Rooms were nice size and clean.
We have stayed before and loved it but this time found the bed a bit hard, the room was really hot and did not like the step up into the bathroom as its a health hazard
Amazing art deco building which looks to have been recently renovated we were fortunate to be in a room located in the original building thats was clean comfortable and great facilties, staff were all very pleasant and accommodating good location for a short trip into St Albans if i had to find a fault it would only have been the location of the staff room next to our room which had the door banging continuously in the early hours, but its an old building so perhaps sound proofing not great in the 20's so didn't mention this at the time of the stay
