The Hotel is in a lovely location, right next to the River Thames. The Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The Room was lovely and clean with a great view of the River We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and had Dinner both nights. The Food was really nice and again, service was good. If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival. I would certainly stay here again and plan to do so in a few months time.

Nice wee hotel

Bed was comfortably, room clean, uptodate ensuite. Tea coffee and kettle in room with border b8scuit!Staff polite and very helpful. Loads of parking at the canal. Food delicious. Stunning location by the canal l9vely sunset watching from patio with a drink of your choice.

Fabulous Thameside Location

Fantastic location right on the banks of the Thames River, ample fee parking and plenty of lovely country & riverside walks. Staff extremely friendly & helpful and food first class, breakfast freshly cooked and plentiful. River view room spacious with great views. Only downside is the hotel in general is looking a bit neglected and could do with a refurb. Enjoyed the stay and would book again.

Great Hotel for the Price

The Hotel building itself is dated however the service and rooms were top notch, the location is simply outstanding especially if you are a walker ( try the Thames Path )... As for the Staff they are awesome, simply awesome...

No better place on god's earth when the sun shines

3 nights and sunny during the day. I could quite happily not gone anywhere and just sat watching the river. Breakfast very good. No draught bitter in bar but rough it with bottle's of speckled hen.

Review:This hotel boasts a beautiful riverside location and offers a warm welcome, with friendly staff who were particularly helpful in resolving issues I encountered. My room was clean, and the bathroom was pleasant. The weather was warm, and the room was equipped with a fan. I had a comfortable night's sleep in the bed. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a good quality buffet with a variety of juices, cereals, and breads, along with a cooked selection and great-tasting coffee.However, the hotel is showing its age and could benefit from a refurbishment. The carpets are worn, and the doors lacked proper handles. While the location and staff were definite positives, a general update is needed to bring the hotel up to modern standards.
