My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. Tracey, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, a perfect host. Breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Excellent location, very close to the centre of town, less than 5 minutes walk. On-street parking can be hit-and-miss - sometimes there are spaces in close proximity, but at busy times it may be difficult to park within 100m. But don't let this put you off! I thoroughly recommend staying here.

Fantastic Stay:

I had a fantastic stay. Tracey is a wonderful host, very kind, thoughtful and attentive. The place itself. Is lovely. It is immaculately clean and homely and my room was beautiful. I was very impressed and will return next time I’m in Harrogate. The breakfast is also excellent. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

In fact I have been very impressed with Murray House, I must acknowledge that I had a very nice stay, it was just what I wanted. After work I t was a pleasure to come back to a sparkling clean environment with a great shower, a computer table or a dining facilty and a lovely welcoming host. I also managed to watch my favourite team in Match of the day on telly. I left happy knowing I will be back…

This is a really nice affordable small hotel or guest house in a quiet residential street within easy walking distance of the town centre. While parking is on-street, spaces are easy to find and the hotel provides permits to use nearby parking free of charge. The owner is very friendly and the room was clean. The TV has internet connection, so I was able to watch YouTube videos when nothing else appealed. The en suite was small but had everything I needed, and the shower had decent strength.
