The parking was safe and somewhat convenient. The room was not very clean - there was visible debris on the carpets when we first checked in. The room we ordered was not available until the second night. No one available at the desk when we tried to check in. Had to call the reservation number which took us to an operator in New York, who them put us on hold. Front desk needs to leave a bell or number to call for late check in. You know what they say... You get what you pay for. After we got checked in and moved to a better room (the next night), the stay wasn't too bad. I still cleaned all visible surfaces to my standards and specifications. The visit to Harlan was nice. Harlan has a variety of interesting shops and various out door activities. Great "downtown" square, Friendly community and friendly people. Great little place to visit for a week(end) getaway.

Parking up the hill behind was not easy. Most room doors face the lot, so, not too secure feeling, but quiet was nice.

Looked at the room; it smelled and was old in every way. The parking looked like a junk yard - dented and broken down cars and parts all around. We didn't feel safe as a result.

This hotel has a sign which needs repair, but the bed was comfortable, it was clean and the had a modern bathtup with a nice table as a desk
