Thanks for the wonderful stay. The space takes you back 150 years. Host is a long time resident with unique experience and knowledge about the area.

When Chris greeted us, his demeanor was very robotic; here’s the story of the house. Here’s your room keep the door locked, so the cat doesn’t come in. Not a good place for people with allergies – there are two resident cats and lots of feather pillows, etc.. It met our needs and was comfortable, but I would not stay there again
Host was helpful with local suggestions for things to and places to eat, as well as local history etc. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast delicious and social. Gret spit close to downtown
This was our second time staying here. We used hotels.com to book this time and did not know we had to request breakfast. But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! Will definitely stay next time we’re in Hannibal. Thanks again Chris
My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at the Garden House B&B. Chris was very communicative for our check in and gave us a lot of the history of the house as well as tips for the area. That was particularly helpful as we'd never been to Hannibal. The house was very clean, the semi private bathroom was in great condition, the bed was so comfy and we were even given bathrobes! We had breakfast 2 days and Chris is a wonderful cook. We hardly used the car as most of downtown Hannibal is just a few blocks away. They are very up front that the house is home to a couple cats, one of which was our little shadow for the weekend. They are very sweet and caused us no issues, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay!
We really enjoyed the host making our “check in” truly unique by sharing a lot of the history and character of your landmark home.
We decided to skip the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed breakfast with “the locals” at “the Diner” recommended by our host.
We really appreciated our host’s recommendations for a variety of quality “local” amenities.
My wife raved about our “feather bed”again and again on our trip back home:-)

Seemed like property needed more staff. Gardens were weedy. Loose railing by front stairs. Cat debris on front porch. Host was very nice but there were "loose ends".
We really enjoy the old house experience. The house has been updated yet the original beauty well preserved. We enjoyed the hominess of having the house cat staying outside our room!
Like: Quiet neighborhood, walkable to places to eat, shop and riverboat cruise & trolley, breakfast optional.
Slight inconveniences: Bathroom i unattached to room, shower stall small, distant train whistles as they passed between river and B & B 5 blocks away.
One of several Victorian B&Bs in Hannibal. We would try another next time.
No specific complaints

The home was so unique and wonderfully decorated. The host was so friendly and had loads of history about the house and the area. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous.
Beautiful historical home. Our trip was cut short due to a family emergency so we did not get to enjoy the breakfast. Very responsive & easy to work with host.
