The place is rough! Bumpy patched up walls, sloppy paint, crooked toilet, etc. It was clean as far as I could tell, but it looked grungy. Also, I think someone was given the wrong room number as they tried to open my door.

The staff was friendly and flexible. When I explained to her we needed a ground floor instead of the 2nd floor because of my mom's disability. She didn't hesitate to change our room.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived . I had a nice stay with nice staff and good parking. I’m booking again on the way home this week. I find it convenient and nice. A good travel bargain

Very nice hotel

This hotel was a pleasant surprise as it is older but very well maintained. The rooms are very nice, beds were comfortable and the front desk attendant was awesome. We stayed for 2 nights and ended up having to stay a 3rd night so I went right back to Relax Inn. If ever in Hampton again this is where I will stay.

Good but slippery when wet.

Overall good stay. As others have said its a decent place to lay your head. Only complaint is that it rained and the ground outside is very slippery. I slipped and fell twice. Fortunately I am okay but there were no wet floor warnings.

Booked 3 rooms for funeral. One room was a smoking room. We immediately told staff after checking in we couldn’t stand the strong smell of cigarette smoke. We ask for a non smoking room and they wouldn’t provide but charged us for a night even though we didn’t stay. The reception area has a big sign saying no pets are smoking. Complete ripoff and totally unfair. Misleading advertising. Should have been total refund because they didn’t could not furnish room. Not up to Orbitz standards and reputation

The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. I stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of the mountains, and waking up to the sunrise was an experience I won’t forget. The staff at the inn were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every guest felt like family. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat in Virginia with stunning views, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend the Relax Inn.
