The rooms are very nice, comfy and stylish. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is well appointed with a great shower. There wasn't air conditioning in my room which did make it a little warm but not unbearable. I would recommend to others

Simply too noisy

I stayed here because of the convenient location during a business event I was attending. Parking with a large car was impossible, I had to park in the nearby Holzhafen Parkhaus which was much better. Noise level within the building is terrible, noisiest room I have stayed in in years. They use some sort of vacuum drainage system for toilets, sink and shower, sounds like in an airplane. The problem is, you can hear it very well from adjacent rooms as well. People walking upstairs or in the hallways, sound like they are walking right next to you. Not a fan of carpets in general but honestly this hotel would need carpets to make the noise level acceptable. The room was modern and fairly clean, no complaints there. I don't think I would stay here again. Service was ok, not super friendly but not too bad either.

Nice hotel, great view from the River view room

Good Hotel, not so great area, witnessed a mugging and a woman with a needle hanging out of her arm on arrival to the area, living in London for the last 20 yrs I thought I was quite unshockable. Hotel not ideal to stay with luggage, lots of steps to carry your luggage up. Might be a lift in the car garage but no signs to send newly arriving guests in that direction. Check in good, bar didn’t seem to understand how their card machine worked but on reading the instructions booklet them managed. River side room was fantastic. The view over the river was incredible. Clean room. Very hot at night even with the fan but this can’t be helped. Very very very slippery floor in the room and even worse in the bathroom, do not stay if you have any problems with mobility, although with all the steps to get in anyone with reduced mobility wouldn’t be able to get in! I liked the vending machines. Some more lighting in the corridors would have been good or automatic lights. Otherwise I’d stay again, with my husband or a friend. Wouldn’t feel safe walking around alone.

For the price of the hotel, I expected a relatively decent sized room. The room was a tiny, dark room on a central atrium with no natural light. It was the sort of room I'd expect to get in New York where space is a premium, not Hamburg. Really disappointing given that the hotel is in such a lovely location. Breakfast on the top floor was the only positive thing.

Nice and stylish hotel

It was just for one night stay, although the room was quite small it was designed quite useful and stylish. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful, the hotel located at a nice spot in the city. If you like warm room it might be a bit cold for you, there is no adjustable aircon in the room, it is central heat system and I had to ask for an external heater. I can recommend this hotel to everyone

tiny rooms

The rooms look very stylish but our ‘superior’ room was tiny! The drain system makes a very loud sound every time you flush the toilet or use the shower, and you can hear those of neighbouring rooms which can make for a very noisy night. They provide a cafetière in the room, but no coffee! You have to go to reception and ask for it. It’s just a pain, why not leave some in the room? They do room service apparently, but there’s no menu and no phone in the room to order it. On the plus side, the view of the river is amazing, and the beds are very comfy. Overall, I expected a better overall experience for the price.

GINN Hamburg

Hotel was very located for the business trip I was on. In-room facilities like tea and coffee left a lot to be desired. The hotel has a vacuum toilet flush system, the noise from which permeates the walls into neighboring rooms. Other than that the rooms are very nice, modern and comfortable.

Modern stay in central location

The hotel is very modern and offers great view ver the Harbour. We found it to be quite noisy especially with an open window due to the paved street outside with cars passing. Other than that, very modern, clean and comfortable room.
