Staff were very friendly, helpful, and on-top of everything. fresh baked cookies adds a nice personal touch. Hotel itself is standard, well kept, and clean. Ample parking, and within walking distance of a couple restaurants and a walmart, having a car here is best. A bit pricy for a rual small town, but not expensive.

Got no sleep due to loud guests

In over 70 years of travel, having stayed at hundreds of hotels in over 20 countries, never have I gotten Zero sleep due to the LOUD guests in the room next door. Loud talking, TV on Loud all night long. Complained at the desk twice. No help.

I traveled alone with my two young sons to the train in Romney, and his hotel option was clean, safe, welcoming and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the cookies at checkin were a fun surprise! A wonderful option where there are only a few hotels.

Highly recommend for Staff

Beds were amazingly comfortable!!!We slept so good!!!Everything appeared clean until after showering ,I walked around barefoot while packing up.When I went to put on socks,I saw that my feet were black!!!!I rescrubbed and put socks and shoes on before walking any more.The floors are vinyl and I’m guessing swept but not mopped.
