The charming market towns of Harleston, Halesworth and Bungay are located within approximately 7 miles; with quaint streets, historic buildings, and friendly locals. There are numerous walking and cycling routes to explore, taking in the stunning scenery of the surrounding area, from exploring the towns' many independent shops and cafes to strolling along the river and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. There is a traditional country pub with family-friendly atmosphere. It is a dog-friendly pub that serves home-cooked food, real ales and has a private garden (2.5 miles). The popular seaside town of Southwold and the Suffolk Heritage Coast are 15 miles away, as are the Minsmere Nature Reserve's woods, marshes, nature trails, and tearoom.
