We stayed on the first floor and we were unable to change the temperature in the room. Normally we would just open the window, but the window was locked and we could not get any air flow in the room. Also, there was no staff around to inform of this issue.

Run down love motel needing upgrades

I am surprised as to all the glittering reviews of this place as it is an aged old love motel needing to be refreshed and upgraded. There are plenty of more modern places near by for a slight more money. It is however spacious, in a great location and the owners are very service oriented and friendly.

Excellent location close to the Bus Terminal

I did this trip as a solo traveler so the location was very convenient bc of being so close to the Bus terminal. The owner has been very friendly. I came at 8:00 am to drop my bag and he was very helpful and kind. He also gave me a very nice room.

The room was generally clean and well set up. The owner was really kind and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the tombs and major traditional shopping and food area.

The owner was very hospitable. Even though we arrived really early (near 11 am), he let us check in early, and gave us tips on what to see and where to dine. The property itself was a little outdated, but it was very close to the terminal and thus, convenient.

This 2-story hotel is in a transition period. It is in an excellent area for transportation, food, access to historic sites. Owner is very personable and helpful. Next project is to upgrade bathrooms, so be aware that, while servicable, bathrooms are not new. Mattresses are very firm. Rooms are large enough. For the price this is a worthwhile choice. Next time I am in Gyeoungju I will be happy to return to this hotel.

This hotel is great value for money. It has a lower rating than the 4-star hotels we normally choose but it had everything we expect in comfort and cleanliness and the location is excellent.

Fantastic place in a fantastic city!

Fantastic accommodation for a good price! Edward, the host is very pleasant and friendly. Helped with providing recommendations on the local sites, even provides you a map of how to get around and what to do. Can also exchange USD to Won if needed. Room is well accommodate, the bathroom is HUGE. Even had a different charging ports for your devices so you don’t need to use your own. Overall a fantastic value in one of the most beautiful places in Korea. If you want to go to Gyeongju, book this place! A couple of blocks away from the express bus terminal, there’s a coin laundry a block away, and a bus stop nearby that can take you to the train station. Local bicycle shops nearby for you to rent one and tour the city.

The location was convenient-close to the bus terminal station and relatively near popular tourist areas. The room was clean, had nice tv and amenities, and large bathroom. Few downsides were that the bathroom door has few lines where it is transparent, so you can see the inside of the bathroom, and the bed might be a little uncomfortable and hard for sensitive people (but my friend slept well!). But overall the hotel has nice service and it is a cost efficient place to stay.

The room was a good size, clean and imcluded a sofa. The owner was really helpful. He provided maps and clearly explained how to get to the most interesting sites. Could not have asked for more. Convenient and quiet location. Also very easy check in and out.

Nice hotel with helpful owner

We arrived the hotel earlier than the check-in time and the owner let us leave our luggage there. Although the owner was busy with the housekeeping works, but he gave us great explanation on places to eat and visit in Gyeongju without hurry to make sure that we understand. The room was really spacious and comfortable to stay with a very reasonable price. No regret for choosing this hotel.

Great value.

The hotel was great, had private free parking, and was clean. Breakfast wasn’t real, and the walls were paper thin, but the room was nice. Good value for sure.

Awesome hotel, staff gave a great introduction to the town with instructions on how to catch local buses, where to find grocery stores and everything else you might want to see on your stay.

Great Service and Reasonable Prices

When we arrived in the evening, the owner was waiting to greet us and showed us to our rooms. He was very helpful and even gave us a map of the area with all the sights within walking distance.

A great choice

I'm really glad that I stayed here. The owners were really wonderful and incredibly helpful. Their English is very good, they gave me a map of the area and explained which buses to take to get to the sites that were more than walking distance and they checked in with me to make sure I didn't need anything. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable and the motel itself is walking distance from a lot of sites and local attractions. Overall a wonderful trip and I would stay there again.

Perfect hotel

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. The staff was so professional, the room really clean and with a lot of facilities to make you feel really comfortable, great location, they'll help you with the touristic attraction... I would totally recommend this place.

Helpful staff

Very helpful staff, Mr Kang and his wife. Showed us good places to go and eat. Motel is very clean and comfortable. Also very convenient. Near bus stops to places of interest and within walking distance to many local sights.

Very nice place to stay in Gyeongju!

Staff was very friendly and thoughtful and provided very valuable information on what to do. Location is very convenient, 5 min to the bus terminal, 10 min to the nightmarket and even in walking distance to the train station and a few of the main sights.
