The hotel location is great and perfect for shopping and good restaurants. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and it’s an improvement to the previous room in colour. The televisions could do with an upgrade though and the bed had a fairly plush mattress topper which didn’t really hide the fact that it wasn’t a new mattress. The shower is rather small even though the bathroom is a good size. They have moved the fridge into the closet which reduce the amount of hanging space and drawer space for clothing which made a difference as we’re staying for a week.

Very clean. Some issues with water drainage in the wet room. Impeccable service from reception staff. Jenny was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. Excellent service. Well organised from check in and thtoughout our stay. She organised for our room to be decorated, plus complimentary drinks and cakes. Spa - lovely and clean. Very therapeutic. Enjoyed the meal at Harbar restuarant. Lovely meal. Bday cake. Very enjoyable. The staff are clearly well trained!

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel and paid the full advertised price was for the spa facilities, which were clearly promoted as part of the stay. On arrival, I was informed that the spa was out of order and unavailable. This was extremely disappointing and not what I paid for. Had I been informed in advance, I would not have proceeded with the booking or would have expected a reduced rate. No prior notice, only alternative was discounted treatments which was sufficient given me staying with my elderly nan who is unable to use any of the treatments this significantly impacted our stay.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing little getaway from our busy lives here. Much needed break. They were so accommodating, the beds are so comfy, the spa was lovely and so were the cocktails. The staff were so professional and kind. We plan to come back and maybe even for a little longer.
