The apartment was surprisingly very small. From the photos presented, this was a disappointment. Although the apartment is in a great location, there are a few things that could be improved: - A shelf in the bathroom for personal toiletries would be very helpful. -An additional foot towel in the bathroom would also be helpful. -It was a little bothersome to have to turn on a switch in order to have hot water for the shower. Also, having to turn it off to avoid a surcharge was a pain. - The TV remote had been broken and scotch taped together. It took some wrangling to get it to work. - The walls adjoining the other apartments need a little more sound-proofing. At night I could hear TV and radio noise from each side of me. - I should mention the good points as well; -The staff in the lobby are superb in their willingness to help guests. They get a big "well done". I had never been to Guatemala City before and they were very helpful and friendly in helping us find our way around. - The location is perfect for someone visiting the Integra Medical Centre 2 blocks away. - Although noisy, the neighborhood was comfortable to walk around in. There are many eateries within close walking distance. - The building has a laundry room - that was a big help. -The building is secure and well maintained. It made our stay much more enjoyable. - I would stay there again, should the need arise.
