I was attracted to this hotel because of the beautiful views in the pictures and its proximity to the zona central. However, what you don’t see in the pictures, is that you have to walk up steep deserted alleyway hills to get there. And many of the rooms do not have that view or even a window. When I got to the room I reserved, the pungent smell of disinfectant and stifling room made it so I couldn’t breathe. At 5”6’, I had to stoop, wa through the hallways, so I wouldn’t bang my head. I told reception that I wouldn’t be able to stay in that room and I would pay for an upgrade. They offered me the bridal suite, which had air conditioning, windows, and that view. The room was not nice, but since I didn’t want to trek down the alleys with all my stuff, I took it and paid twice what I’d initially paid. It was the eorst and most expensive place I stayed at in Guanajuato. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Definitivamente no recomendado para personas mayores o con niños pequeños. Muy complicado llegar al hotel con el equipaje. La hubicacion del hotel no es muy conveniente a pesar de estar céntrico. Habitaciones limpias, staff amable. Desayuno muy rico. No A/C

Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful City

Our stay was beyond wonderful. The hotel is on a hill so.views were magnif. Our room was cl wlean and comfortable . Housekeeping is offered faily. So is breakfast, which includes fresh fruit, eggs, chiliquilles, beans, coffee and juice. Btreakfast is served al fresco on the 3rd floor with srynning viewa of the beautiful city of Guanajuato. Sprcial requests were honored, such as we requested a fan for our room. We jope to return to Hotel Corazon Mexico soon! ..

Horrible communication, Wrong location!

I never made it to the hotel. The location is not where they say it is and the streets where it is located are very narrow. My Uber driver barely made it up the narrow hills and whwn we got there, we could not find it. I called the hotel and expressed the same dissatisfaction that I just described. I also explained that I have leg issues and cannot walk up and down the hills and that getting an Uber to drop me off will be very difficult. I told them that they avertised their location incorrectly amd should be more honest about where they are truly located.They said they would call me back only to receive a message hours later (after the 3pm check out). Mind you, I called them 2 hours before when I arrived to the city. I then called Hotels.com and reported this issue requesting a full refund with all the details described above.

Hidden hotel

The hotel was "ok". It was hidden and so difficult to find, I will not stay there again. The staff was great and prices were comprable to others, the terrace was a positive aspect, one which was a reason for booking, but not a reason to come back.

We love dogs, but not barking all night and keeping you awake! Dog poop around the hotel needs attention. Breakfast and front desk staff nice. It's a location that requires a lot of stair climbing.

There is an uphill to access the hotel, no elevator to your room and many stairs. So if you are weak in health, this place is not for you, on the other hand- beautiful view and good bfast.

The view from the hotel is very good, friendly staff. The problem is that it's quite complicated to get to the hotel, by car, there's just one narrow street one way, which is the closest, after climbing or going down some stairs. By foot there are several stairs, streets, alleys to go up to get to the hotel, which is extremely tiring, take it into consideration. There is a free parking near by but, they mentioned it was already full, another option is a space where you have to pay around #350-450MNX and last option is to leave the car for free in another hotel same brand which is around 10min-15min by Uber. We choose this option and was the best since despite the hills, staies, etc, we walked around the city
