Great Hotel

I have been coming to the Portobello Hotel for many years now, and the reason being that they have been very friendly and helpful with every visit I have made. It is very central to many other places aside from downtown. I was privileged to a sneak preview of how the remodeled rooms will look like when they are all completed, and let me tell you, they will be absolutely fabulous, a definite upgrade.

I like this hotel. I will stay here again next time i visit GDL. it was clean, have everything i needed. It was close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. Staffs were nice and helpful. I'm glad my reservation wasn't able to be cancelled lol.

The hotel is a wonderful place, nice room, super clean, friendly staff, but only one thing; the pillows are super high and hard. I had to ask for a softer and lower; it was better but not great.

Location was great walking distance to main church and other Attractions. Room and bed just like the pictures, beds are very comfortable we got a room facing the street was a bit loud but I can sleep threw anything, so If you can't than ask for a room not facing the street. Staff super nice and attentive very helpful The pressure of the shower wasn't that good but it's nothing to really complain about everything else was great.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel Portobelo in Guadalajara. The location is truly excellent – it's incredibly central, making it easy to walk to many of the city's main attractions, restaurants, and shops. I especially appreciated being so close to the historic center. The hotel itself offers great value for the price. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. I found the service to be a real highlight of my stay. The hotel also offers convenient amenities such as free Wi-Fi and parking. While I didn't have the chance to dine at the restaurant, I heard positive feedback from other guests. Overall, Hotel Portobelo is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a well-located, comfortable, and affordable hotel in the heart of Guadalajara. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Good stay

Very nice staff. I asked to move rooms because the first night I had trouble sleeping in the room near all of the traffic (busy street). After changing rooms it was great.
