Brilliant stay

A very homely cottage in the best location. Gruissan was brilliant and this cottage was perfectly located, a stone's throw from Gruissan village with multiple shops, boulangeries, restaurants and cafes. The cottage was just as described on the website and our family of four found it great. We didn't need to use the upstairs bedroom or bathroom at all! The owner was helpful and friendly when needed. We would visit again!

Lovely Oldtownhouse

The house is a very charming and quiet old house in a historical part of the village Gruissan; within a view minutes by feet you have several restaurants and stores very nice (tip: Le petit Brasserie); really pretty view from the rooftop! Andre is a very nice and considerate owner of the house, and Veronique and Andre are very interesting and helpful! super nice beaches! We really loved it because you have Narbonne very close and you have good places to make sport (Windsurfing an kiting)!

sehr schönes, altes Haus, mitten in der Altstadt

Wir waren Ende Juli für zwei Wochen als Familie (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) in diesem schönen alten Fischerhaus. Es liegt in einer kleinen Sackgasse mitten in der Altstadt von Gruissan. Mit einem normalen PKW ist die Straße nicht zugänglich, das Auto kann also nicht vor der Tür parken. Wir haben aber immer schnell einen Parkplatz gefunden. Vorteil ist, dass man auch schon mal einfach einen kleinen Tisch und Stühle in die Strasse stellen kann. Kleine Restaurants und Geschäfte finden sich direkt um die Ecke in der angrenzenden Fußgängerzone. Der nächste Strand ist ca. 2 km weit entfernt. Innen ist das Haus sehr liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet, es sieht genau so aus wie auf den Fotos. Im Erdgeschoß befindet sich eine kleine Küchenzeile, ein Esstisch mit zwei Bänken und ein kleines Sofa vor einem großen offenen Kamin, den wir bei 40 Grad Aussentemperatur natürlich nicht genutzt haben. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen, funktioniert aber. Für ein Leben mit Spülmaschine hätte es ein paar mehr Messer und Gläser geben können. Im 1. OG befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, eines davon mit kleinem Abstellraum und ein Badezimmer mit Dusche. Im 2.OG befindet sich ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmer (Dusche). Über eine schmale Holzstiege kommt man von dort auf eine kleine Dachterasse, von wo aus man über die Altstadt hinweg das Meer sieht. Das Haus war innen angenehm kühl, nur im 2.OG, also direkt unter dem Dach war es uns trotz Ventilator zu warm zum schlafen. Da wir nur zu viert waren konnten wir ja problemlos die beiden unteren Schlafzimmer nutzen. Die Betten waren alle gut, mit eher festen Matrazen. Alles war weiß bezogen und sauber. In den Schränken lagen genügend Decken für kältere Tage. Die Wendeltreppe vom 1. ins 2. OG ist sehr schmal und die Stufen teilweise auch schief, für uns war das kein Problem aber man sollte es wissen. Da beide Badezimmer innen liegen und kein Fenster haben läuft praktisch permanent ein Lüftungsventilator, dessen Motor im 2. OG ist. Trotz der kleinen Einschränkungen empfehle ich das Haus in jedem Fall weiter. Man wohnt einfach toll in der Altstadt und eben nicht in den Touristenzentren aus Beton.

Ein wirklich charmantes Haus in schöner Altstadt-Lage

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei kleineren Kindern im Juli 2 Wochen in Gruissan. Das Haus liegt wunderbar in der Gruissaner Altstadt, umgeben von netten Lokalen und Restaurants. Bäcker und Mini-Supermarkt sind nur wenige 100 Meter entfernt - alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus ist großzügig, sauber und funktional, sehr ruhig und angenehm kühl im Hochsommer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Haus gern für den Sommerurlaub weiter.
