The reason why I’ve assigned this assessment of the property is because I am in Sacramento, CA. There is a motel here called Gold Star Inn & Suites. This is the motel that I wanted to book up, but instead I mistakenly booked up your motel. For the past two hours I have been online trying to cancel, but I’m not having success. I put in the code you send, and your system keeps telling me it is invalid, but it’s not. Then I try again, and the representative on the phone tells me that no one can help me due to a technical problem. I’ve pretty much given up trying to contact you, and I am worn out. I am requesting a refund, as I did not know I was booking up a motel in Connecticut.

Good location and room area but not as clean as I

Definitely need to step up on their housekeeping skills. Dirty floors, baseboards, closet areas, dust everywhere, no coffeemaker or hot water kettle or mugs to make tea or coffee? Microwave and refrigerator as well as kitchen and living space were great but no dishes or glassware mugs or utensils. Management were courteous and helpful. Maids were polite and respectful. Loved the space and the location but please increase your cleaning regime.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation, albeit a little dated and in need of some upkeep. Located in a quiet area of the Connecticut shoreline in easy reach of Mystic and Groton. We took the opportunity to tour "The Nautilus and Mystic Aquarium. We spent a week and would return.

Walked in and the shower floor was covered in dry CRUSTY brown spots as well as the side wall of the shower. There was some sort of YELLOW SLIMEY substance. Dealing tiles? Almost complete water rotted. Was going to cave in at any minute. Walked by a scary character who said “watch out ladies” for no reason and made us feel unsafe. Side convenience door was not SAFE at all. Anyone could just walk right in and not be noticed.

The outside of the building was nice and our room was large but the sink and stove did not work and it was infested with ants and we saw roaches in our room! We also paid for a nonsmoking room and there were people sitting right outside our room smoking.

They say you get what you pay for, and this is a prime example. They have one of the lowest prices for rooms in the area. And, while the outside of the building isn't much to look at, the rooms were actually quite spacious. The main issue we had: paper thin walls. We could hear EVERYTHING in the room next to us, and they were just having a normal conversation. Our room was clean, but very outdated. A great place to save some $$$, but good luck on getting a good night's sleep.

Very clean hotel. Is an every day clean a requirement in hotels in New York? Because they popped in every day! The only downside of this place is the hot water. It came but i had to run the tap for a few minutes to get it.
