Staff was friendly , the sheperd's hut was clean and justs as expected. The shared kitchen was not as good as sexpected and we should have brought more cooking utensils, pan , crockery and cutlery. The playground is close by and we had good night sleep. would stay again
We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown! Definitely will visit again!

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Well worth the visit
Marvellous, lovely place. I left my watch behind under the pillow, they posted it to me promptly.
The office was a bit hard to find in the dark upon arrival so better signage or lighting would be the only thing I could suggest for improvement.
Room was clean and comfortable. Bed could be a little high up for those with mobility issues but was comortable with good pillows.
Only thing to note-shared bathrooms. The listing on other rooms say shared bathroom but this room didn't and included bathroom amenities so I made the erroneous assumption that it had a private bathroom.
clear signage to direct to site, advance access comms, incredibly comfortable bed in the shepherds hut, hot shower, access to basic kitchen.
Walkable into town. A group on tented side was exceptionally loud, once I shut my doors I couldn’t hear them though.
We're in our mid seventies, found the steep steps to our cabin entrance a bit tricky to use. Cabin like the camp, was clean and tidy. Manager Ken was attentive and worked hard. Re the beds, we found them a bit on the firm side and so we struggled to get comfortable. It was a pleasant stay otherwise, met some very nice folks and though struggling to sleep overnight was our main issue, would be game enough to try it again.
Our thanks to the staff and the folks who gave us some of their time.

The reception service was excellent! The toilets, shower rooms, and kitchen were very clean and well-equipped. Although the room was small, it was cozy and comfortable. A lot of parking slots there too! Great location to the town. We had a great night’s rest here!
A really good place for the money, bathrooms and kitchen are pretty decent. Kitchen had pots and utensils and plates. Rooms with basic facilities, would like if they have small dustbins.
