Felt like home

I recently took my daughter to South Carolina to visit a school and we stayed at Hotel Hartness. This hotel felt like home. It was aesthetically pleasing, extremely comfortable, it felt private, the staff was friendly and accommodating...I can't say enough about our experience. I highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.

The property was pricey. We expected friendly staff and upscale amenities. The staff yelled at my son for trying to help his mother with the luggage. He was rebuked for trying to use the luggage cart. Are the bellman so in need of tips? The grounds were under construction. The view from the room we were sent to was the parking lot. The restaurants were clearly not family friendly. The choices were limited to items not designed for the younger ones. The hotel description should have made it clear that children are not welcome.

It was wonderful. I really enjoy this hotel. The only negative is their charging stations over charge. It was $12 to change my HPEV for 2 hours. Typically changing stations charge a lot less.
