I wasn’t happy about the additional $22 charge. They stated it was due to booking 3rd party & our daughter was “older” than a little child. I entered my daughter age when booking.

Terrible check-in

When checking in, we were checked in by the rudest person ever. We reserved 2 rooms because we have 3 girls who are ages 13,13, and 14. He continually asked us their age and kept asking which kids were staying in what room. He accused me of saying all the girls would be staying in a room, which I never said. We were also charged $22 a kid when we thought we paid in full. We bought 2 rooms, which sleep 7 people in total and were charged more! He also was very suspect when he took my husbands credit card to pay the additional fees. He said he ran the card, and when my husband tried to take it back he told him he couldn’t have it because we don’t know what he’s doing on his screen because we can’t see it. He had his phone out and it looked like he was taking a picture of his card. Terrible check in experience, we will never stay at a Best Western again. We will be calling to talk to management as well.

Really should have an elevator. The guy at the front was really nice and immediately changed us to the 1st floor when i told him my grams is in a wheelchair. The toilet in the room def needed to be replaced. But all in all it was decent fir what i paid.

Check in was smooth, the man at the counter was very nice! The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable! The bathroom was clean and the water was HOTTTT!!! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Will stay here on our next trip to Alabama!

This hotel is located off of I-65 South in the middle of a commercial District with many different restaurants and a Super Walmart, in case you needed something. The staff was customer service oriented. The lobby and breakfast area was immaculate. Our room was totally renovated top to bottom - nice. It appeared that all rooms were being renovated. Oh, and it was quiet!

It was a good overnight.

Older motel, but recently freshened up. New bed, new carpet, fresh paint, etc. We stayed in the second floor and it is a walk up. It wasn't bad, but be aware. The owner could take the renovations up a notch with new lamps or shades, freshen up the wood furniture, art on the walls, etc. The main things we look for we're there: a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, nightstands with outlets, refrigerator and microwave, a couple of places to sit. The breakfast was barely adequate but we had (weak) coffee and something to eat.

Good for an overnight

If you book a king bed room through Expedia, they're all on the 2nd floor, and the staff said they couldn't change a booking through Expedia. No elevator. I was OK with that, but "heads up." The room was fine. Housekeeping left a pile of their laundry. Everything worked fine. Highway noise could be heard, but running the fan took care of that. Breakfast was ok: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins.

Comfy stay!

Very nice stay! The hotel was clean and upgraded, and we loved the free Continental breakfast. It included delicious fresh waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, juice and cereal.

Twila who greeted and checked us in was very nice and helpful. We arrived after snow storm of the century which caused all of the surrounding restaurants and fast food places to be shut down. They had never gotten snow and ice like this. Further down the interstate had been closed. Even the Walmart shut down! We were able to get food at the Circle K right next to the hotel. The room was very clean. The beds are on metal stands and the mattresses moved some on them if you knocked up against them. We were traveling with pets and able to get a ground floor room which opened directly into the parking space making it very easy to get in and out. The breakfast was good.

Value motel in convenient location.

Spacious room with clean sheets and plenty of fresh towels. Friendly front desk employee for quick check-in. The mattress was very hard which is not my personal preference. Convenience stores, shopping, and food choices in close proximity.
