When we checked in the tub was covered in mud or mold had to have someone come clean it. Then they didn’t have wash cloths had to wait to find some. Finally the shower is awful. It starts out great but frequently the pressure goes to barely a drip then comes back for a few seconds then back to nothing for quite some time which is frustrating when trying to shower.

I had excellent time this weekend. The hotel is beautiful, the employees were kind. The food was great. Homecook food for breakfast. I will stay again.

Property was clean. Room had a musty odor and the drawers had a strange smell so could not unpack. Although they have an onsite restaurant, there are no walkable dining options. There is no free coffee offered in the lobby.

Handicapped Stay

The property itself is very nice and clean, and the furniture is comfortable. Since I specifically elected a regular room with a king size bed and avoided booking a handicap accessible room, to defer those accommodations for people who actually need them comma I was highly disappointed that I was assigned with one of these types of rooms. As someone who has handicapped family members, I find it difficult to rest comfortably.Wondering if I have taken something that should be available to someone with more needs. This is the lodging equivalent of parking in a handicapped spot.

The hotel staff, especially maintenance workers were very friendly. The restaurant was just awful. The staff was a single woman who was very off putting and had no clue how to be in the service industry. She ignored us for extended time then brought two three drinks ordered to the table and told my son he could go to the bar to pick his up. We were given menus and when drinks were finally deluvered she left without asking what we wanted to order. That is just a part of the experience. Was disappointing there is no complimentary breakfast and when booking my mother asked if there was a pool. The answered in the affirmative but neglected to advise it was not open until Memorial Day. The room was clean and beds comfortable

This property is undergoing some renovations room by room. I was in an old room which needs updating, new paint, etc. When I checked in, my A/C wasn’t working. They tried to fix it but that didn’t work, so they replaced the whole wall unit - within minutes! I was very impressed. The evening food menu is marginal and limited, but the bartender, Jamill (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was amazing. She was making drinks and taking and delivering food orders by herself. When I ordered an Old Fashioned, she asked me if I like it sweet. When I said I did, she actually muddled sugar cubes for my cocktail. Best Old Fashioned I’ve had in years. I had two every night during my stay. I only had breakfast on my last day, and Greek yogurt fruit and granola was very good. The gal who drove the shuttle van to the airport was really nice too. I think it’s the closest hotel to the airport but I never heard any planes. All in all, it was very pleasant stay
